that rig is shining like foreheads - nicely done - go ice down your arms now.
Ha, yeah, 6 hrs with the Porter Cable makes me thankful I am not in construction working a jack hammer!

Very nice! I need to follow suit on both the LC and my Cadillac, which has very sad paint right now. I'm putting a shopping list together based on your materials above... I see the better part of a weekend getting devoted to this.

Also you mention salt, but so far as I know we only put mag-chloride down on our roads in the Denver area.

Yep, I use the term "salt" generically but that JetSeal is a great product and gives me peace of mind for sure!

Wow, @kreiten 3.5 yrs? I have to replace mine every 6 months. I've wondered if there is a proximity setting for the FOB re: unlock / courtesy lights that can be tweaked with Techstream to save battery life, e.g. my FOB is set to a ridiculous distance causing unnecessary battery drain? Otherwise, I can't imagine my daily driving usage is anything abnormal...

Still have the original battery in my '13 remote/fob and it's still going strong...

I keep it in a small airtight ziploc bag to keep the lithium from evaporating;)

Washed, clayed, cut, polished, sealed, and waxed - should be good to go through the upcoming winter and salt road mess coming soon.

Wash - Chemical Guys Citrus Wash with foam cannon
Wheels - BDP "DipYourCar" (works great on plasti-dip wheels!)
Clay - Meguiar's C2000
Cut - Chemical Guys V32 (orange hex logic pad)
Polish - Chemical Guys V38 (blue hex logic pad)
Seal - Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 (microfiber sponge applicator)
Wax - Chemical Guys Butter Wax (microfiber sponge applicator)
Throughout - Costco microfiber towels (about 15 or so total)
Tires - nothin' - I'm not a high-gloss tire guy

Note, not a product endorsement for any brand per se, just happens to be my current inventory at the moment (seems lopsided!)

All in all, I got rid of about 80% of my pinstripes from Ouray and other recent trial runs.

Bring on the snow!

Forgot to give credit where credit is due - a lot of, if not all, the techniques listed here were given to me by @MScruiser - highly recommend it! Can't ever look at an automatic car wash the same way again...

Looks great, man!

Remember to take your reducer pc. off your jerry can spout when filling your truck fuel tank. I didn't and it caused some temporary issues.
I came home with some fuel left over in my jerry cans after the Moab / Ouray trip. I decided to top off my gas tank and forgot that little bastard was still on the spout. Thought nothing about it and was happy fuel didn't go to waste. Next few fill ups the gas pump it would cut off like it wasn't venting or the tank was full. I'd love a $2.00 fill up but I knew there was an issue. Checked everything I could externally. The filler neck tube is hard so you can't squeeze it to feel for blockage. This morning My tech @ the Toyota dealership sent me a text / photo...made me laugh...found it he said. This little pc made it all the way down to the gas tank itself- amazing!

I'll just assume it's engine-oil-shiiine... ;)

And thanks for well wishes.

Been itching to get home and fiddle around with my new ARB drawers, etc., but was only home for a day and a half before leg went boom.
Hoping I might be able to fiddle a bit from my wheel chair. Will have to resist temptation to try and get in driver's seat and drive with my left leg... :bang::hillbilly:

Wanna organize these, but no opportunity yet:

Still not home yet though...
Leg control has not returned &
nerve issues turned into feeling like quadriceps is on fire.
Weird.

I wonder if I'll beep at the airport?

Tibial Plateau fracture (split down middle of tibia)

8 or nine screws holding it together... BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP (?)

Fun stuff!

@dukmon - thanks man for the suggestion. This works wonders. Cleaned my whole headliner and it looks 100% better. Would not hesitate to use this product.

I relocated my iPod Classic (music hoarder) to my glovebox and ran the USB through the ashtray assembly and behind center console over to the glovebox. I trimmed the small opening above the glovebox light to allow the USB plug to fit, otherwise it was just popping off a few panels, a couple of screws, and the use of an old clothes hanger to feed the cable through.

I'll eventually add some velcro to the ipod and mount it vertically on the glove box wall.

Thanks to @MScruiser and others who have done something similar... much cleaner look now.

Beautiful. That's the way to do it for sure. One of those little first mods I take for granted.

man this rocks. I have exact same color LC and year. I have been eyeing those TRDs at the dealership. Thanks for giving me a first look on how aggressive they look on your LC. What tires do you have on it? and how much higher did you truck get than the stock 9.1inc clearance?

Thanks. I think they look pretty good on the truck. Very happy with my decision.

The tires are BFG KO2's (285/70r17)... they're about 1.5" taller than the stock Dunlops, so I'd guess I gained around .75" of clearance.
