225 watts? Holy crap that's a lot of wattage for light produced by LEDs!

This is the kind of lights I would like on my Landcrusher:

Actually...that cartoon flashlight exists...for real!

Check this out...

We shall see how bright they really are; I'll know on Tuesday. $250 a set was what drew me in.

They are similar to these: 2X 9.8Inch 225W Cree Led Spot Driving Light Offroad 4×4 Atv Truck Suv Lamp Red

I have these 225w in black on the front bar. Careful not to strip the side adjustment bolts when tightening. I need to nutsert two. The alu is quite thin at the threads.

They are super bright. I'm running flood on right and pencil on left via two separate spod channels. Except for the threads they've been reliable.

No wiring for 2-battery setup YET... -Waiting on Slee's MAIN battery tray replacement.

Meanwhile...as I limp along with a weak main battery, I decided to go ahead and mount the 2nd so I can at least jump-start my old, weak main if necessary while I wait for the tray. Didn't want to waste money on replacing the main when I know the 31 is going in soon...

About the new tray kit:
Typical Slee. Tray goes in SUPER CLEAN. Truly seems like it should have been there stock.
Excellent relocation brackets are supplied for both the steering fluid and DRL Resister box...Very easy install for non-mechanic me.
-Just removing bolts...attaching bracket...snapping fluid reservoir in (which has perfectly pliable tubes to allow turning about 90 degrees...almost as though Toyota planned this all along.

Great stuff.

Next up... Just need the main tray for the 31...and then the wiring harness, etc.

Does Diehard still make the group 31 battery? I've been having trouble finding one.

Called Sears and no more. They said it's being replaced, but had no date.

And ya...not easy to find the right 31. Lots of "31" around, but wrong 31!
I actually had to special order mine...as even the main San Diego Interstate warehouse did not have the right one on hand.

Discovered "Type 31" can be VERY different from each other. I bought the wrong 31 at first...then called Slee to check.
-For Interstate, it needs to be: 31P-AGM7...which has a VERY different terminal arrangement than some other 31s.

Side note re Interstate: When I talked to the Oddyssey battery guy, he said Oddyssey actually makes that battery for Interstate, but that it's slightly dumbed down version of theirs. He rattled off the difference, but since I had already bought the 31, I don't recall the details. I cannot confirm his claims...but I do know Oddyssey makes fantastic batteries, so would not be surprised.

Also... The 2nd tray battery from Slee is based on the 35...and because I'm clearly no battery guru...I decided to just get what Slee has in their shop truck (Interstate 31P-AGM7 main and Odyssey 35-PC1400).

Spent the day adjusting the BP51s. For this week I'm trying Front C3-R8
Rear C4-R8
Edit:
Changed the setting to
Front C2 R7
Rear C4 R7. Going to soft the rear one more click tomorrow.

It's definitely noticeably stiffer than my C1 R6 setup. ARB asked me to play with setting at different temps to see if temps and setting have anything to do with shocks making noise when it's really cold.
Regardless. I love these shocks.

My right-rear squeaks at low speed, with only slight movement. Driving me nuts. I can make it squeak just by pressing down on the bumper with one hand in the rear...

I have no squeaking. That sounds like a bushing. I always put a little marine grease on my bushings.
