Went to a locally owned and ran exhaust shop today. I'm ready to address the stock unit that hangs low below my rear high clearance bumper (which is not attached in this photo). View attachment 1165113
Anywho - any exhaust experts in here want to kick some knowledge my way on what I might ask for? Stainless - ok
Muffler - or not?
Thanks

When I cut off my resonator for my 4x4 labs bumper on my 80 I lost one or two exhaust mounts. I would recommend if that happens with your 200, that your stress to the muffler shop that you need your exhaust to be attached very strongly if possible.

On my 80, the first set of replaced exhaust hangers broke at the welds and I got a rattle upon start up that scared me on a road trip until I figured out what it was. You know the toyota factory exhaust is bombproof, so don't let them just tack it back up there.

For the 80, they put on a little exhaust tip that does fine for the 1fz-fe, I look forward to seeing the solution on the 5.7.

For that last end on the rear there aren't any mounts for it, (actually 2 mounts are there) a simple cut and pipe won't affect the rest of the exhaust in any way. I'll try to get a clear picture when I'm get to my cruiser. Only one i found on the phone

ok - thanks
might tuck it up a bit more than stock location seeing how I lots of room under there with the spare tire cavity not in use. Please post up a pic when you get the chance. Shop owner said the same about skipping a resonator and just utilizing a straight pipe - I asked him to think about it over the weekend and see what he comes up with.
thanks

Forgot to mention he has Radflo 2.5s and we installed 1.25" spidertrax spacers which is why it appears so wide. It does rub on mudflaps at full lock.

Installed a Front Runner Rack this past week while I'm waiting for all my parts to come in. Love it so far. Can't wait to order some accessories. Couple pics of mt brother ride too. He is rocking 22's and they look amazing.
