Used a few threads here and refreshed all the bushings on my sway bars (I was getting some lean on turns and noise). Pretty straight forward job accept for a rusty bolt that was also directly above my TB ( read bloody knuckle ......twice ). I'm at 205k so hopefully this will help with the refresh theme I've been having lately the old pucks were compressed so much they were half the thickness of the new ones!

Also noticed a Leaky cv and gave Pfran some $ for clamps.

Next up is diff flushes on both ends. I got the washers in with the parts for this from Lowe toyota ( thanks Rob)and thanks mud for the good how tos with pics and part list

Can't believe my thread has 43 pages and over 600 replies! Y'all travel, wheel, wrench, and share Alot. Thanks! Loving it.

The 200k refresh is almost done at the shop. Can't wait to get it back as the rental Camry is wearing thin to say the least.

Timing belt, water pump, reman 100amp alternator, some water hoses, some Trans hoses, steering rack, poly bushings, tie rods, Ironman 'performance' lift, and some new 285 Toyo AT2s and a large bill. :princess: hasn't asked too many questions so I have that going for me. All this and the new plugs I put in last week should yield at least 25 more HP,lol.

My LX went in for service today. (73000 miles)
I had all the oil changed: Motor, transmission, front and rear differential and transfer case.
Filters were also replaced.
The muffler was also coming apart, there was a large crack at the seam. Got a new one.
It also had a wheel alignement (toe was out) and a tire rotation.

They also checked my AC, which wasn't working. It (luckily) turned out to be a ruptured AC line which wasn't in stock. It will go back next week to have that fixed.

Traded in our 2001 lx470 with 165k miles for a 2013 lexus es350. Will miss it but didn't need something of that size anymore. Who knows maybe we'll pick up another lx another day.

New radiator last Friday.

Tightened the valve cover bolts. No leaks, but wanted to do as PM.

New adjustable height sleeping platform

Well I had this idea for sometime and wanted to build a sleeping platform that was both light weight , easy to remove and have adjustable / screw off legs and can double as a table extension off the back of the truck.

see full details on build thread.

I am going to place some aluminum sheet at the very end so I can run my stove on it. I just put a 1 1/2 inch memory foam on top and I am good to go.

New hood struts
New hatch struts
New master key bought/programmed

Whole lot more on the way.

All OEM parts bought via American Toyota in NM, can't say enough about the service, pricing and delivery.

Fixed electrical body control module issues with one 15 amp fuse. Chased down and fixed cylinder 5 misfire with a new spark plug. Reprogrammed keyless remote successfully. New BF Goodrich sneakers all the way around. Changed oil Mobil 1 Extended Service. Still slowly but surely removing faux wood trim....want new gas struts for hood and hatch. Want to replace failed sunroof motor. Want to upgrade headlamps and grill to '06 and rear tails to LED '06.

Replaced my OME 860s with SOR heavies and removed the hitch in preparation for a new bumper. I'm going to have to figure out how to replace some nutserts that were casualties of the hitch removal. The 860s are heading to the classifieds.

^^ I lost a captive nut on my hitch this week. Must be going around...

Installed a Kenwood Excelon DX6699HD head unit with Nav, XM, back up camera, replaced all the door speakers with Rockford speakers, and recovered the speaker grilles in utility burlap fabric....sweet upgrade.

How do you like it? Every time I convince myself to get a Kenny I watch a YouTube of the boot time and decide not.

Added some LED lights I got for Xmas into the places that fit

Replaced side mirror glass with Burco glass from ebay. Will test the heated feature this morning and hope the glass does not fall out.

It does take a few seconds to boot up, but nothing so long that it is a issue. The back up camera activates immediately, with no delay. The boot time is a small price to pay for all the added benefits of built in nav, Bluetooth, USB, XM etc. The Rockford Fosgates are a great fit, and so much better than the stock speakers. My drivers door speaker had blown, so that is what prompted the change out. The fit is great, as it uses the factory brackets. With the wiring kit, its plug in, do if I ever sell it, it's easy to put back to stock.

Also recovered the speaker grills in brown utility burlap. Looks much better.

Another oil change, drive shaft lube, top off fluids, and throttle body cleaning done! Time to get the tires rotated.

What did you use to adhere the new mirror? Mine has been sitting on my workbench for a couple of weeks. I was planning on getting some epoxy, but just have not picked it up.
