Paid $3900 for a reman tranny and install...:censor:

I guess I gotta go find the 2000 LC/LX tranny thread and add my name to the list...155K miles, pulling my race bike down to Barber. Tranny went without a sound, without a hint that anything was wrong...one second I am cruising on the level at 75 mph and then I am just freewheelin' down the highway!

Why do I love her? Because she got sick only 15 miles from home...could been 150. Now I'll have her for another 100K miles...:steer:

dropped drive shaft to have it rebuilt.....ordered magnaflow 18" to replace oem muffler I crunched over weekend at same time I put a scrape and dent in driveshaft. :)

driving FWD LX470 until the drive shaft is fixed...had to order the metric tube...then two days for fixing it. $200

Have him retube it with thicker metal. You do any one tire fires off the line yet? :)

not yet.....taking wifes car to Boone today but when I get back on Thursday evening might see if it accidentally happens. :)

yeah he is retubing it completely....was telling me how much a pain in ass these are with the pressed ends versus normal or old school shafts. LOL

Ordered "T" pipes, Trims pieces to remove factory rack, new star washers & nuts for front spindles. Carson Toyota not a sponsor of the site. But they have online sales

Installed ARB 02 plus front bumper, ARB rear should be here on Friday (if the container gets here)

Last Friday I bought the diff drop from Slee and the lift from TRDparts4U. The lift is 10% off the list price so it saved like 85.00.

Going to be busy for a few days with the lift install.

I gave it a good bath and greased the drive shafts.

Tightened the P**S out of my sliders. Cured a variety of squeaks and the suspension feels a bit more plush. Both of the front mounts were just past hand tight after two years of highway and washboard roads.
Pretty sure I gained 15-20 placebo hps.

Put the Blueberry bumper back on after powder coating it to body color. Installed winch, wiring, and cutoff switch. Painted ipf lights to match. Added a flashlight mount on driver side of center console. Adjusted driver side door (pia), hood, and gave her a little detailing. Roof rack should be ready this week. Put in new wheel bearings and greased the spindle bearings, but techinically that was last week...

continuing from my dual batteries, stereo, front and rear sways, i still haven't received my reman denso alternator.. should be a few days and getting anxious.. so anxious i ordered a bior rear bumper that is being welding up this weekend.. i should get it oct 8 or so. very excited to not have to worry about peeling plastic every drop i go over. oh ya, and to take the tire from underneath and ge tthe high lift mounted..

Installed Slee heavy springs today. With the Slee rear bumper and tire swing out, the truck rides great. I was VERY surprised because due to how heavy and thick the springs are. Great job Slee.

Horray! glad they worked out for you.

Added Sirus Radio module to my Kenwood Nav unit and mounted the satellite antenna next to the rear 3rd brake light.

This should hopefully make the Mojave Desert road trip more enjoyable!

sweet, have you tried putting topos on the Kenwood? I love having them right in the dash for forest roads and wheeling. Check in the electronic toys section for details.
