Front bumperIt's not the size of the drill bit, it's how you drill it.![]()
Plastidipped my mouldings in “gunmetal grey” after I got quoted >$1000 by a vinyl wrap shop. Super easy process as always with plastidip. Even though it’s miles better than the chipped, faded original, it’s just too light, and my OCD won’t let me have 3 different shades of grey that close to each other on the side profile. I’ll peel this colour off and try again with “stealth grey” hydrodip coming next week.

How are these hold on? My drivers front one is catching on the door when it is hot and I think it needs to be shifted forward slightly. I assume they might have clips and adhesive tape?Well, I gave up on the plastidip solution and did what I should’ve done from the beginning: OEM.
I ordered all 10 pieces from Impex for about 70,000 yen shipped. They fulfilled and shipped in a couple weeks. I went with the -D0 colour code instead of the -H0 the truck came with. D0 has a gloss to it and is a darker grey overall; it comes standard on black 100s. I can provide part numbers on request.

Same, I returned mine and bit the bullet with Maxtrax.Buddy of mine wanted to buy the old green recovery boards I wanted to get rid of so I got these black rhino recovery boards… is anyone else super disappointed these don’t nest on top of each other.. at all?

Did the rear brakes. Here's my thread on what I learned about brakes > Cut off the stupid rubber slide-pin sleeves and don't grease the pad ears.
Went from Austin to Houston to meet with family who were passing through. Right around the time we got there we could hear the awful sound of metal-to-metal. One of the pads ran out of juice (I don't usually put squeal shims on). Pretty gnarly by the time we got back. I used downshifting and the e-brake when braking needs were light. The wife didn't give a ***k when she was driving, so... yeah.

Ahh let me guess.. the sensor wire rubbed on the belt? Ask me how I know..Replaced cam position sensor due damage wire and routed it back correctly. Also changed out flanges and associated hardware. I had a little bit of looseness in the front drive shaft.
Bought the OEM parts from UAE, saved about $65 compared to Toyota USA 25% off sale prices even with shipping.

I'm debating it but for the price I just dont know, lol.Same, I returned mine and bit the bullet with Maxtrax.
For awhile i had forgotten that there was a dome light in the 3rd row/cargo area. I was wondering why it was so dark back there. Then realized my kids had turned off the light so i had forgotten that there was a light back there. Thanks L @FullyLitLED for the plug-and-play LED conversion. Love the brightness of the interior! Highly recommend this kit. Before and after pics. For camping and night ops, the brightness is great. The front reading lights are the red LEDs, and they are perfect for keeping night vision while driving.

You did all that in 3hours? That’s impressive. Where do you live because I’d like to hit you up when my next timing belt change comes around lolTiming belt, water pump, oil change, new coolant, some new coolant hoses/clamps, new brushes for alternator, new air filter, new tensioner, some new pulleys - can’t remember anymore
Wrapped it all up about 3 hours before driving my wife to the hospital for a new baby boy!
