What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (28 Viewers)

I’ll be driving out to Colorado in June so I spent a little time getting the 100 ready.

Swapped out the tactile switch buttons for the rear air and defrosters, it’s nice to be able to control those again. Also put in a new fan clutch, serpentine belt, 4 new KO3s (stuck with 275/70 despite being tempted to go 285/70), and 5 new TPMS sensors.

Need to do a few other small things but it’s pretty much ready to go.

Very nice looking LC AF. What size tire and what type of lift are you running?

My '99 is in store for a refresh.

I want to paint the wheels on my LC but wanted to change out the center caps before I painted as they're all scratched up and some are missing the Toyota Logo, instead of buying new ones, I decided to 3D Print some based on the dims from the OEM caps.

The fitment is about 90% there, but I still want to tweak it a bit so it's better. The Test one is printed in PLA and it's stayed on fine for a week of highway driving, though I'll probably print the final ones in ABS or Polycarbonate in a higher resolution for better durability. I'll Upload the model here and in other places like Thingiverse once I'm happy with the fitment, for others to print if they want.

Did another section of the Daniel Boone Back Country Byway that I hadn't done. I continue to be impressed by this truck. We did a difficult rated trail and came upon a few 4 door Wranglers, one of which had taken a bad line and was basically high centered. They required a winch and expressed skepticism as to whether the LC would make it. It did. I'm installing the Ironman lift next weekend and everything I've done so far has been on stock suspension, sliders, and good tires.

After replacing the fluids in both diffs, transfer case, transmission and radiator, took it out for a spin out west.

Still amazed at how tight it drives on hard top after all that shaking and jarring.

@Reshala Did you ride any of the new trails of the DBBB? What road of the trail is that first pic from... can you send me the GPS location? I see the Jeep got high centered on Old Fincastle - That's a fun one. I'll be heading down there again sometime this year to check out the new sections

Yes! I've done Spaas Creek Rd and Punkin Hollow and now Old Fincastle.

Do you have the Avenza map for DBBB? It is an essential for me.

I bought a LX 470 today... how do you guys think I did? Seems like a steal for AK prices..

Seems like a steal anywhere much less AK! I paid a couple gs more for mine in CA with similar mileage. Nice score!

Will have my stock LC100 roof rack for pick up in the Bay Area, CA.
Front bumper as well.
