Everything that happens to the Land Cruiser this week or any week, has something to do with this little area. I found the Cornwell cart on the world market, and stole it for 200 dollars. It's going to make me a lot more organized. A lot more. hauled home in back of LC100, and put the tools in it I use most when I'm working on the LC100.

Repacked the wheel bearings on the LX. Happy to find they had been previously taken care of. Also got a package of goodies from Japan.

Now I feel dumb, but that’s what’s great about this forum…knowledgeable and polite answer. Thank you!

I seriously cannot believe I didn’t think of that.
Hey,

I was pretty sure but I went to Jason's website to "check my work" before I commented
so I wouldn't risk talking out my arse...

So there's that ;-)

Had a shake on the highway. Thought it might be my worn out CVs (had some play in the passenger side and a rip in the boot on the driver's side). Replaced both CVs. Still had the shake.

Decided to look up some stuff on here and noticed my last post from a year ago mentioned an issue with my aftmost Ujoint that I had temporarily resolved. Figured that was probably the issue. Dropped the driveshaft, replaced the Ujoint, and found this...

...so yeah. That was definitely the problem. Now no more vibrations on the highway.

That’s just the little steel clip that came with the CB, screwed it into the removable panel right there.
Ok thanks. So simple lol. Thought it be a special gadget. 😂

Slowly but surely piecing the truck back together after the paint job. Cleaned the carpets and re-installed. New Toyota fuel pump. De-rusted all the metal under the center console and painted it. Installed all new door glass runs and weatherstripping. Put new leather on the seat bottoms. Mocked up the ASAP mudflaps. Now gotta reassemble the interior, knock out t belt and other engine maintenance...Hoping to be back on the road in a couple weeks.
