Which bumper lights are those? eBay specials, or something fancier? They look good!
Thanks! They’re just the LED lights that come standard on the Ironman 4x4 Classic Off-road Bumper. They have plug in wiring but it still needed to be spliced into my corner lights. The flasher module was from Amazon and IMO should be included in the bumper kit.

New wheels and tires. 16x8 0 volk te37xt. 295/75/16 ridge grapplers.
Nice! I have decided that is the tire size I am going to buy next, so very nice to see them, especially on some black wheels and I'm guessing a stock height truck?

I have been torn between Ridge Grapplers and KO2's. Any tips to help me decide? I off road a bit, not a ton. No snow or ice. Quite a bit of rain in the winter (PNW). I do some driving on river bars, and the occasional drive on the beach. But most of my "off road" driving is on old logging and forest service roads. I occasionally run into some mud, but mostly just rough terrain from unmanaged roads.

Installed my airlift 1000 bags. My 860 springs are overloaded, I’ve got dobinsons 171s on order but I wanted the bags anyway. Amazing how much better it feels with 10psi in the bags. Raised it about 1”

Bought a cheap hitch carrier from harbor freight, added it above the spare on a receiver mount so I can remove it when I don’t need it. I’ll probably cut it down some but for $60 it’ll work just fine for it’s use. It won’t get loaded heavy, just for the trips with the whole family. Also had some help with assembly.

Finished changing out gear oil today for the front diff (transfer and rear done on Friday). Holy hell working from underneath the truck is difficult to get the leverage required to crack that upper fill bolt. Had to get really creative to get them loose, after that it was simple.

Then went to cut out the roof rail template (using 1/4" by 3" MDF bender board) so I can't start on my prinsu style roof rack project. Hopefully make more progress this week

I have a dobinsons 2-3" lift.
I hear KO2's get shredded up pretty easily. I've been pretty happy with the TOYO RT's (sister tire to the ridge grapplers) on my 3/4 ton dodge and apparently these ridge grapplers are a little "better" at everything than the RT's. I think either tire would work just fine for what you're looking to do with your truck. Post some pictures when you get your tires on!

I like the 171s for the rear. They give stability in handling.

That looks like a dedicated helper! :)
I think this is a good idea but I would suggest cutting it back as much as possible. The higher you mount it the more flex it will have at right now it looks scarily close to the very expensive rear glass.

I cut what’s sticking out of the tube near the glass off. I have 3.5” of clearance from the closest point to the glass.

Upon measuring this morning I have about 12” I can remove from the driver side and still have a very good size useable basket.

Should also save about 5 lbs 😂

Hello,
First time posting I just joined.
Picked up a 2005 3litre diesel landcruiser had 370 thousand km.
Old and High mileage but all I could afford and is a dream vehicle of mine.
I went in to get the automatic transmission flushed as it hadn't been done, I was surprised to here everything was OK and oil wasn't even that dirty consider the age.
But I did get told my fuel injectors need to be replaced and that they are expensive aso the fuel rails as they are so very rusted.
I was told they are pretty expensive, im living in norway now 🇳🇴 so everything is even more expensive here on top of that.
Is there a certain type of injector that only fits in this vehicle or would there be a few to choose from are some better then others? Can anyone recommend some as I would presume it would be cheaper for me to source them myself then going to the shop and them ordering them?
Is changing them a big job?
Thanks in advance

Welcome!
This forum is mostly populated by V8 petrol 100 series owners--there are a few diesel heads in here who might be able to answer ( @Moridinbg ), but you also might want to cross-post your question to this forum: Diesel Tech / 24 volts - https://forum.ih8mud.com/forums/diesel-tech-24-volts.24/

My only diesel experience is with a Land Rover 300Tdi (straight-up mechanical injection) so is probably worth little to nothing--changing the injectors on that would've taken me about 15 min. . .

Might be cheaper to get the injectors rebuilt if you can find someone in-country who can do that.

If it's a 3 litre, it is not a 100 series and it's not a Land Cruiser, but a Land Cruiser Prado 120 - same as GX470 in the US and having much more in common with Hilux and 4Runners than with the bigger Land Cruisers.
The diesel injectors are expensive indeed and are a very well known issue with the D4D diesel engine after 200-300 000km. You are lucky you have only 4 of them and not 8, like in the diesel 200. If one is bad, the rest are not much better.
They are specific to the engine, and there are at least 3 different part numbers for different years and regions. If you can get the part numbers from your mechanic amayama.com & partsouq will give you way better prices than what you would get from the Toyota dealerships and most probably from your mechanic. They go for $400-500 each. They can also be refurbished for slightly less, but never to a like new condition.
The injectors have calibration codes that must be entered via Techstream (Toyota diag software) after replacement.

The 4.2 engine in the 100 is not common rail and has injectors that are way cheaper.

But then you could see the bit of rust on my differential…

So I fixed that also…

Now it’s time to get dirty again. ;)

Swapping out these little gems. Bled the old fluid out and got the globes swapped on over the weekend, bled the fluid again today. I’ve been covered in AHC fluid (and so has the floor…) on and off for days- haven’t found the right size tubing and it’s been a big mess. Buuuut- I think I’ve got most of the air out and ride is much improved. Next will be to hook up techstream, check that all
my pressures are where they should be, cross level it and get the torsion bars even etc.

What I’m trying to do is figure out what all stuff needs to be replaced/ updated underneath this thing so it rides like new again. Not quite there yet but getting better- suspecting that the few-years-old e-rated K02s on it are not helping much either.

The wife and I are on our 2022 Omicron Variant visit to Cali

My nephew, nephews daughter did some BLM trails and checked out some mines.

Had to tow her out after an electrical fire.

Yesterday I lost the FR tire, broke my jack and was PO that I had to call roadside service to replace a tire.

After an uncomfortable gut feeling and a strange vibration for 500 miles I stopped into a tire dealership Monday morning and had the 6 year old tires replaced with a new set of KO2.

The technician said “Sir, your Toyota is complete.”

Wife- “You figure if the work on cars they would know it’s a Lexus…”
