My 01 LX had a bunch of switch lights that weren't working so I ordered some T3 and T4.2 bulbs. Getting original bulbs from Lexus or Toyota proved fruitless and very expensive. I replaced the outer mirror switch bulb (T4.2), rear quarter window bulb (T3), hazard bulb and 4x4 bulb (T4.2), PWR & 2nd bulbs (T3). I used the green condoms from the old bulbs on the new ones. Everything is now lit up for the 1st time in I don't know how long.

I also replaced the halogen headlights with white, LED lamps. These are awesome! Can't believe that I can see the road at night now. The yellow halogen bulbs were pretty close to worthless for night time driving. Found that the left headlight needed horizontal adjustment, so took care of that as well. I may go back and rewire the lamps to minimize wiring inside the dust cap. I don't want to risk the heat of the LED melting wiring. Not sure if this is an issue or not, but it is a point of concern.
Thank you for this, I posted this question not too long ago asking which switches in that left panel is lighted

Replaced heater tees, changed the oil, and installed a new rear wiper assembly.

What have you done for your 100 Series this week? 😄

New epoxied floors, new gray paint, and new LED shop lighting in the garage. We’re in the middle of a remodel for the house and the garage was first up.

Nice—I put mine in front of the LHS headlight, same effect. And yeah, I've ripped the cord out of the wall more times than I'd like to admit 🙄

This is why mine is in the front bumper, and I back out of the driveway so it will unplug itself if I forget.

On vacation for 2 weeks so I have some time to work on some things (finally).

Finished replacing the rest of my coils…ready for another 240k miles. Did a torque check on the spark plugs and found cylinder 7 was slightly loose. Checked boots on the old coils and 3 had cracks when flexing.

Also replaced the air filter and installed the ground cable kit I picked up from @Fourrunner many months ago. Didn’t understand why the block to chassis cable was so long until I put the engine cover back on.

I had to check my “new” 01 LX470 and think my coils and plugs are original. I did test using the tool kit that Lexus has and I was able to do the coils/plug inspection to conclude I need to get on my growing PM list.

I was frustrated with the AC removal on the timing belt and see I need to add the coil pack / plugs on my list. Looks like mine are original 20 year coils and plugs w/ 182K.
