Dropped off the vehicle at the shop...

This is the first time in 20 years someone else works on any of my vehicles.

Looking forward to seeing the gains of the DT system.

They say it’s not the age, but the mileage. Still, my ‘99 LC100, has only (?) 187k on the clock and the paint is beginning to look like it might have once been a Taliban “technical”, so into the paint shop she goes. Also just got an email from Escape Gear saying my seat covers and tire cover are in the mail. Furthermore, I also got an email from WeatherTech saying my cargo floor mat and front floor mats are also enroute.

That's the next stop for my truck too.

I kinda gulped when I got the paint estimate, but then thought back to the last time I had a car painted. It was a 1970 Camaro RS, that I had resprayed in 1979. The cost for fixing dings, etc. and for Imron was about $2300. So with inflation I can’t complain too much. I’m sticking with the original Champagne Pearl, but doing the bumpers and sliders in black Raptor.

Purchased a matching tire in 275/70R18 and had it mounted to the Tundra steelie I picked up for $25. My original OEM Land Cruiser 18" alloy wheel was severely corroded and wasn't worth salvaging. Steelie spares FTW :D

I'll be interested in hearing what the DT setup does for you.
Hopefully, make me happy.

Seriously, I was tired of the exhaust manifold leak... aka ticking.

Also, the cats installed weren't for this size engine.

Bit the bullet and got the DT cat-back too.

If I was going to do it... thought this was the right way to do so.

Because you had a set of thy561ssc
I figured... that's why I made the joke. :)

I bought mine through Summit Racing... in March. Got them mid June (I think), all thanks to a group buy from FB that prioritize the 561.

I don't do FB... But I believe that there's another group buy going on now from talking to the club.

But prices went up from what I saw on DT's site.

I'm thinking about doing Raptor liner to my truck. My wife hates the idea.

But I bought this truck for camping, trips and exploring... so I thought it's a good idea. I need to decide soon my hood looks like crap and I hate it.

I'm going to do the prep work and painting with a friend of mine at his shop... so it's a bit different.

I got a quote for $3k at a reputable shop just in case.
