Yeah I gotta agree with you on that, the paint finish on mine is definitely wearing significantly faster than any other shock I’ve run. Especially at the bottom near the lower mount

Wow, yours look great compared to how mine did. I have the adjustables, paint was blasted off half way to the boot. When I started scuffing with a brillo pad it just flaked off.

Flushed green coolant and changed (almost) all hoses and clamps. I'll finished the heater T's this weekend and top off with Toyota Red. I've got a starter and front end rebuild to look forward to as well.

The old thermostat had the seals falling apart. No idea how old it was.

My seal was doing the same thing, glad you caught it. I couldn't get my heat above 100 degrees (per my scanner) when it stuck like that. It came and went for a few weeks, would act up and go away. I kept trying to bleed the system thinking it was air. It finally stuck open like that with the seal almost pulled completely through.

The correct part came in yesterday and just completed the repair this morning. Sheesh, that adhesive solvent is strong, I should’ve done this in the patio in an open air condition. Now I think I’m high lol.

Did you use a kit? I've been hearing about this as a great option for sprucing up the speakers. Did you hear any difference?

I have yet to hear the sound difference. It’s still drying up at this point and will install later once it’s fully cured. Based from the users of the kit, it brought back the factory Mark Levinson base quality of the sound.

Lol thanks. That's the teq logo toyotas old trd brand. I still haven't decided how to rig it up but want the stove permanently mounted to the table I think with a cabinet inside to hold cooking utensils.
That's smart. I'm remembering how awesome the leaders' chuck box was from when I was back in scouts. They had a good stove, good/ real utensils, a dang spice rack, the whole deal, and it all unfolded like origami. The rest of us were stuck with our Carl Buddig and our foil packet burgers, while they were eatin' good. Anyway- when that's strapped to the back of the truck you're starting from a pretty good place.

Starting to stockpile parts to rebuild my front suspension. Ended up buying Moog LCA bushings. They are made in Japan and have Toyota part numbers stamped on them...

I had a set of these on a 4runner and they were great tires. I can't believe no one has said something about the jackstands.
Yep, should mention the harbor freight recall on Pittsburgh Jack stands. Will PM him

Did you get them at Rock auto?
I did. It was a last minute decision to just go for it as long as I was already doing (and had ordered) most everything else.

Are these the lower front bushings? The #1"s? That is an amazing price on those. Wish Rock Auto would ship to Colorado.
1s and 2s. The pictures were one of each. They don’t ship to CO? That’s odd. You can even get Coors nationwide now!

Something about local cities and county's charging tax and Rock Auto not wanting to comply with it.

If anybody here is ordering a few of these puppies, let me know. I'll buy them from you and pay shipping as well as buy you a cold beverage when you are in CO for wheeling this summer. I'm looking to do all four lowers with OEM but not down with $55+ shipping per unit from the toy man.
