Yep, got a Trail Tailor diff drop installed. Freak accident or went a little too aggressive somewhere? It's the diff side boot so it will be easy to replace. Maybe just give the OE boot another shot?

I also have 2inch lift without a diffdrop. Leaked grease soon after the lift. Then a mechanic did one side and I did the other by myself. Both holding well over 10-15k miles, not much offered/flexing though. May be yours overtightened, that can easily happen with aftermarket tighteners

It ripped straight in the center not on the clamp. Almost like it was hyper extended or something.

Could be bad luck with a faulty boot or something hit it on highway, sorry to hear that. Don't think its a over flex given you have a diff-drop.

Hmmm, now you have me thinking. Maybe I hit some debris like some downed branches or something on the trail. Most of the trailing I do is on trails that dont get much activity and end up overgrowing. Thanks for the feedback.

Before the smoke got bad, drove to Sullivan Lake, here in NE Washington for a 15 mile hike up/down the mountain in the background. Took a pic of the 99 LC from the summit of Hall Mountain, but it is just a dot...

Used the Partsouq parts catalog to order heater T's, hoses, etc. ( like the part diagrams/pictures, good prices, even with shipping from Dubai, UAE):

Yesterday, joined the rear-shock-hole club to install Bilsteins. Also, since the smoke is now extremely bad, donned the respirator to change out the heater T's. Here's my comfy engine cushion and old rickety ladder. Glad I did, one OEM-original (185K miles) tee was disintegrating (pictured) and the other broke apart in my hand during disassembly:

Replaced all 8 ignition Coils with Denso. Expensive but feels really good to have done with the new plugs! One coil was burnt nice and one had a crack but the others looked pretty good.
What was your rig's mileage at the time of replacement @silver02accord ? Did you feel any indications that it was time for a survey or were you playing a hunch? 🤔
Cheers mate,
G

06 with 212k miles. I have been baselining so just getting a lot of stuff out of the way plan on keeping truck for a long time (always wanted a 100). Here is a pic of thr one coil that def needed replacing, this was #7 at back of engine bay ds. The spark plug was also loosest on this and coil 5. The plugs were changed 90k miles ago with oem and looked weathered too - gaps were 0.43-0.46

Replaced the antenna with one from AntennaMastsRus.
And got the new wheels and tires this week. Had to do some Orange County Choopers style “fabrication” to get the front center caps on.

Link for the antenna and how do you like it so far? I guess I mean in terms of reception, even thought I hardly use the radio.

Did you unplug the antenna motor from the fender or underneath the glovebox?

Spent last couple days installing ARB Sahara bumper (plain Jane w/no buffer or bar) and Smittybilt XRC 9500 lb winch. No room under bumper for control box so mounted it on top. Bumper install more tedious than complicated. This forum much more helpful than included instructions.

Few hours on the trail today but no need to test the winch.

Shot in the dark, but can anyone measure their stock height 100/lx470 front wheel gap (Without lift)? Would like a fender to center of wheel cap measurement (or whatever is best) so I can use as reference to see where my lift is sitting at.
