What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (20 Viewers)

After towing from FL to OR, I'd recommend you just check the pressures at every stop, rest or gas or otherwise.

Also note that the airbags became irrelevant when I used a proper WD/AS hitch. Well worth the few hundred dollars.

What is that pipe sticking out of your hood?

The Spidertrax spacers do not cause any rubbing at all. I have not been offroad to test any flex yet but I don't expect any issues. Actually, the opposite; the ride seems better with a touch wider wheelbase. For such a top heavy vehicle it seems more stable.

The 'pipe' is a Midland Ghost Antenna. Gives a little more range, but mostly looks kinda cool.

morimoto HB LED install. NO cutting of the reflector required except you must drill the one piece LC lights to 22mm hole size. They're polorised unlike the 2 stroke but they work the same with with a 7ohm resistor and the led harness if DTRL is a concern. Good looking LEDs for high beams without too much fuss.

Do you happen to have a thread on these? They look great and perfect for a fall project.

Radiator, thermostat, cap, flush.

Installed the TT .5 inch body lift in anticipation of 35s after picking up a set of tundra steelies for free. Body lift install wasn't bad, time consuming due to drawers. The intermediate steering shaft was a PITA though, steering is back to pre bodylift feel

.5 inches doesn't sound like much 😂. But that's basically a 20% more lift over what I had

Did you end up getting some? Also curious if they are water proof or resistant?
Look like Spectre Offroad. If so, it's what I have and I would say water resistant. Beads up but will soak in. Super super durable though. Duck canvas type material

Moved my fridge for the 3rd time... This last time because my two dogs didn't like having individual seats when it was on the middle seat second row. Now the dogs get the beach seat again, can seat 4 comfortably (5 if they straddle the fridge), I have a large armrest, can access while driving, more room in back for packing, and the lid opens all the way now

I don't. There isn't much to it. It's these high beams, High Beam: Morimoto Mini HB LED I TRS 109$ mini shrouds screw right in to the projector, no gluing.
Step bit up to 7/8" . Drill front and back sides of the hole because you can't go all the way through. Then use a 22mm or 7/8 spade bit to finish the center of the remaining bore.
This is for the 06-07 LC lights, stock or otherwise. LX high beam reflectors are different. AS are the older two piece reflector LC, and I'm not sure of the configuration of the reflector for the one piece 2003-05 LC that are sold. I know they have an adapter to mate with the 9005 LC and LX high beam female in the car. SO the actual center bore of the high beam in that one could be different. I think they had an H11 Not sure.

Clean up and re glue light. Futz with the high beam male connector inserting the pins into the male connector that they ship with and test/install Re aim, or not if you're still using regular 9004 low beams.
Won't work standalone as DTRL, you'd have to disable those or turn them off or buy a harness from Lou. Discussed here, LED DRL and High Beam for LX and LC, He'd sell you the LED projectors with a harness if you ask him.

the M HB LED are just another option for high beams. Whatever color these are, something like 5000-6000 it's a close match to d2s 5500 @ 35W. The difference in the pic you can see is the slight lens color blue of the d2s 5, the d2s 4 is not tinted.

Yes 1FZE 4.5 Inline 6, same one as the 80 series but with updates.

These things are indestructible, I have been hitting rev limiter almost every time I drive it lol, on all of my LC100's that I owned since 2006. Not a single problem. Not a single rebuild on the engines, just change the oil frequently and inspect coolant and your good.
Sounds absolutely amazing
So I know I’ve seen out there the 1FZ being built with turbos and all, does anyone do big power/performance with the 2uz V8?

I installed an ARB CKMA12 air compressor (forgot to take a pic) but I didn’t use any special mounts. Just bolted it to the passenger side wheel well. (I’ll have to update with a pic)
I didn’t want to use the ARB switch, so I ordered one from ch4x4.com and I’d like to eventually add (at least) a rear locker, and loved the idea of the OEM switch, and figured now would be the time to figure out all the wiring and get it all hooked up.

I had to extend the wires and relocate the TPMS switch. Figured it doesn’t get used much, so it’s zip tied behind the dash by the hood release.

I had to half drop my rear axle to replace a blown Airlift airbag. That's two blowouts in six months. Can't say I recommend them anymore.
Where is the blow out on the bag? I’ve had mine since 2016 and pull an off road trailer on trips. I haven’t been bashful on trails. I have gotten some good articulation while towing and never had a problem.

Just finished fabbing up a battery tray for 2nd battery on my 100 series.. The only aftermarket tray out there was close to 200 bucks and could only fit certian smaller batteries... I searched on Amazon for a prefabbed tray to fit larger batteries and made it work after I cut, drilled and welded certain mounting points that mount onto inner fender well.. Best part was tray was 30 bucks and all the metal I welded was scrap metal I had laying around garage... I also cut off oem power steering bracket that mounts reservoir to fender and welded it onto tray.. Random pics:
