Currently in the middle of removing AHC and installing Bilsteins, OEM LC torsion bars and OME rear springs.
Can anyone confirm, my AHC equipped LX470 already has LC torsion bars installed? Is that common on an AHC truck to install LC bars??

So, are you saying the Dissent wouldn’t survive a deer hit? Here’s a close up of my plastic bumper (around 45 mph-ish) w/ two pronghorn (though one was a fawn). I would assume even the aluminum Dissent would fare far better.
ARB HAS CRUMBLE ZONES JUST INCASE IT A REALLY HARD HIT ALSO WORKS WITH AIRBAG.
OEM BUMPER TOOK IT LIKE A CHAMP
AHC equipped trucks have torsion bars that are "lighter" than standard LC torsion bars.

Are they identical to the OEM ones you were planning to install? If they’re the same diameter, then, yes, someone already “upgraded,” maybe in an effort to get the front end higher??
IronMan Bullbar. Ran mine on an AHC equipped LX for nearly a year. Zero issues doing so. Had mine for over 3 years now and it's taken out a white tail deer and 3 hogs with zero issues to my rig.
Changed the front sway bar bushings, and end links. Didn't go Toyota this time, decided to try out AC Delco pro from Rock Auto. Holy jeez, it really makes a difference, which I wasn't expecting. Then again I took the sway bar out in February and just put it back in yesterday, so maybe it's just that.
My wife calls my LX470 "squeaky," i suspect because of these parts, one/ some/ all, being old and worn out- so I'll be doing this on mine sooner or later.
New Front LH & Rear RH door handles ready to go in.
I would not say that at all. I've never owned a Dissent, so I can't speak to the quality. Plenty of folks on here can, though.
Any of your options will survive better than the plastic factory.
Finally got my lift! I have wanted this since the day I bought this truck.
@TRAIL TAILOR was awesome to work with and helped put together a great kit for me.
Tough dog 41mm front, 45mm adjustable rears, diff drop, torsion bars, extended front and rear sway bars.
Took it out for a quick shake down run up a local fire trail at like 10 last night. Going to give it a real workout this afternoon. Really impressed so far.

This week I wrapped up my AHC delete and lift on my 2003 LX470.
Icon shocks
OME medium springs
OME torsion bars
Front diff lowering bracket
Harrop rear e-locker
Stainless brake lines
Rebuilt all calipers
New rear u-joints
Completely replaced parking brake system (everything was seized/corroded)
Replaced rear axle bearings / seals
I ended up about 2" of lift.
Going to the dealer on Monday for re-alignment. Fully expecting to have to replace the UCA but I'll decide when they tell me how close I am with factory arms.
Couple points of interest:
Angle grinder was the only way I could remove the shocks -- just too corroded to get out with wrenches
When you disconnect the AHC ECM you will have 2 useful power sources to splice into, a continuous 15A circuit (white/red wire on relay next to ECM) and ignition key switched 20A circuit (black/yellow wire). I used the switched power for the e-locker circuit. I'll probably add another power socket based on the continuous 15A wire as well.
I would not have done the rear axle bearings if I were doing it again. It was about $1200 for the dealer to do this when I brought them both axles...Seemed like a good idea at first but the bearings alone are north of $200 and a lot of parts are cut off/pressed back on. Just not worth it for preventative maintenance in retrospect.
I bought a OEM locker switch from Japan and it plugged right in to where my "night vision" switch was on the LX.
The OME / Icon combination is MUCH more plush than I expected. I had expected a fairly stiff ride but I'd almost call it plush.

@UTadventures the issue isnt whether the dissent bumper or the slee blueberry will survive, its will it protect your hood, grille, and headlights. ARB with the reinforced bar work has been proven to plow deer head on, in the corner, w/e and take almost no damage. I think with the bumpers that have no upper barwork theres a chance the struck deer could cause some body work damage to your grill, hood, or headlights.
Congrats! I just ordered a very similar kit from Jason. Just waiting on upper control arms and rear springs, I think. I'm going to run the OEM torsion bars since I'm not running any extra weight up front. Still trying to decide spring option (Lightest Tour Flex option vs. Lightweight Gold springs-TDC949L). What springs did you go with?
