Finished my dual battery install. I used a Slee second battery tray and a Blue Sea ML-ACR isolator mounted to the firewall behind the second battery. I fabri-cobbled a mounting bracket for a Blue Sea 12 fuse block that bolts to the Slee steering reservoir bracket, and ran the power for the isolator, front USB, brake controller, and 7-pin power to it, so I could clean up my wiring. I also fabri-cobbled a bracket to hold Blue Sea Mega fuse holders next to the factory fuse box. I also installed 350A fuses on both batteries for the 1/0 cables to the isolator. That way there isn't an unfused cable traversing the engine bay. I tried mounting Hydra three way battery terminals, but they were too tight if a fit on my H7 main battery. So I cut one of the posts off, and they fit great as two way terminals. I'm using my main H7 as my house battery, and my second battery just for starting by connecting the batteries with the isolator remote switch. That makes sense to me since my H7 is huge, and I want to be able to listen to the stereo, use the interior lights, etc while camping. It's all pretty squared away now!

Should’ve stopped while I was ahead.
Went to clear off residual glue from wood trim removal - using Goof Off - and totally screwed up the clean black center dash piece I worked so hard on revealing under the wood trim. Guess I’ll try to source a new piece from a part out, or see how much local dealership will sell me one for. FML. Stupid mistake.:bang:

Hoping to find this piece in a part-out sometime soon, or try to figure out how to recover my current one. Kicking myself for this...

Or just put the wood trim back on for now until source a new centre panel. I've spray painted the cigerette lighter area before but that is small and comes out in one piece. Big job, and may look weird -- AC controls may make it difficult although you could possibly get it looking a lot better than it is. :/

Get the special interior paint cans, they work well and come in matte black to match specific interiors. Sand her back with some 2000-4000 grit

Cleaned the ac system, changed out the computer to hopefully fix the immobilizer issue ( Mauser is the freaking man) and replaced one of my 06 repo leds with one of slightly superior quality.

Also cleaned out the MAF

Full video guide on replacing LC door handles:

Did a brake fluid flush, changed the air filter, changed oil and filter, ordered parts for the rear sway bar bushings and link bushings. Also ordered a replacement connector going to the fog light - janky plug is causing my passenger side to keep going out. I finally figured out that awful clattering over rough road is my rear sway bar end links. They look fine, but give em a smack and clackety-clack! Doing a little studying on flushing power steering system. Only fluid I haven't got to since I got this beast. Tomorrow will grease the u joints front and rear before I put my skids back on.

For all those who didn’t care anyways It’s just a debris plug for my removed Power antenna. Things you make when bored in the garage. Lol.

They do have crumple zones, I found out while on vacation in Hilton Head SC. Rearended a Yukon XL the hitch drove it back 2 inches on the passanger side, thankfully no airbags.

Went to pull my EFI fuse to change my fuel filter and found this jumper wire. Why would this be here? Anyone know the short answer? Currently battling P0115, even after changing Coolant Temp Sensor. A new TPS will arrive tomorrow, hope that clears the code.

Is that for always on 12v sockets? If they work without acc power than I would say so!

Flushed power steering and cleaned reservoir. Replaced pcv valve. A/t fluid replace (not fun without dipstick and made 2 annoying mistakes - filled tc with atf after not being able to find a/t drain bolt and put back a screw in the wrong spot on a/t and fluid shot everywhere.) Easy oil change and filter, air filter, cabin filters , fuel filter, transfer case oil (twice after my mistake above) both differentials, flushed ahc fluid, neutralized ahc pressure with torsion. Added ASFIR skid plate and had ML amp repaired by United Radio-system sounds fantastic imo. Now I can spend all my time detailing Taylor. Added 285/65 Ko2s. Deleted running boards and mud flaps, add mud flap covers from Land Cruiser Phil. Picked up yeti 3k on Craigslist to power a fridge (currently blizzard box from Costco prob will get iceco VL60 Dual One). Purchased the truck 2006 truck 3 weeks ago and wanted to take care of all pm. Just a thermostat and fuel pump to install oh and white knuckle sliders when they arrive 😊. Love the ride!

Finished up my weekend maintenance with Lucas Red N Tacky on the spiders and prop shafts, put the skids back on. Bought a few things to flush PS and noticed that Mobil 1 5w-30 was on sale at Bi-Mart for $22.48 - 5 qt. and there is a rebate going on for $10 gift card for each 5qt. Limit of two rebates. So I grabbed two! That's only $2.50 a quart, wow. Offer good till Sept. 30.

You can try checking page 268, or search for P0115. Lot of diagnostic steps you can take to pinpoint the issue.
