Spark plugs are very easy to do, except #7 plug on the driver's side, you'll need to be creative with your extensions. How many miles on your current plugs now? And i wouldn't change O2 sensors until the truck throws a code telling me to change it.

I got an 0446 and an 0420 code. New charcoal canister/vsv’s and hoses in the books and still getting those codes

🚨🚨🚨 CHEAP WINCH ALERT! 🚨🚨🚨

I got my new Apex 12000 installed over the weekend in my LX470.

Winch talk here: New Badland Apex 12,000 lb. Winch

I needed to remove the control box and mod it to fit my Dissent front bumper but other than that it bolted in just fine you can see how I did that in the video below. All in all I think it's great value for a 12k winch alone, then add in synthetic rope, nice hook, fairlead, wireless control, waterproof, etc it is really good. With the COVID situation HF might be taking a big hit on their manufacturing and supply chain so we might see products like this disappear or go up significantly in price so that's why I decided to go for it now.

Got me a nice waterproof cover for the winch. It's important to take care of the synthetic rope: Amazon.com: Winch Cover Waterproof, Heavy Duty Winch Dust Cover, Dust-Proof, UV-Resistant, Soft Winch Protection Cover for Electric Winches 8500-17500 lbs, Black: Home Improvement

Those Evap codes are very difficult to fix, that's the reason we don't fix Evap and system too lean codes at my shop. P420 is a cat going bad, sometimes it might be the O2 sensors not reading correctly, but likely you'll need to replace your cat for it to go away. Anything other than OEM cat will trigger the same code again soon.

Counterpoint—I had both 0430 and 0420, and replacing the O2 sensors fixed them both. I've got about 5 months on it now, no sign of the codes coming back.

You're lucky then! Knock on wood for sure, that wasn't the case for me and a few other people on the forum.

Which sensors your replace first. Upstream or downstream?

Downstream, or post-cats. About $45 each for the Aisin equivalents, and about 20 minutes to swap them. I went down the same road as far as research, started looking at the cost of cats, and figured that for $100 it was worth a shot.

These worked for my '03: Amazon product ASIN B000C5SG8G. Same wiring harness and everything.

Picked up my 2001 Lx two weeks ago. Recently I had my first low tire I had it repaired and the spare checked, which was also flat(valve stem rotted) dealer said there is a possibility the spare has never been used. The spare is next on my list of things to replace. Super impressed with this rig, sold a 2017 wrangler unlimited before getting it and In many ways aside from mpg it is so much more capable.

My '99 LC with an automatic trans that has a problem where the car intermittently has trouble cranking but will eventually run and once it starts to run it may turn off or it may not. I am having trouble diagnosing the problem because every time I try and crank the car I never know if the car will 1) crank on the first try and 2) how long it will be before it stalls out. I have a video of the car cranking the first try but within a minute of the car running it stall and the engine cuts off. I can't upload the video but if you think it'll help if you see it I can send it via email. I just had the fuel filter replaced by a mechanic because that's what he thought was causing the problem but it didn't fix it. Any suggestions or similar situations that have been resolved?

Mine was down, since I had bad CVs anyway, and discovered a bad ball joint. I kept my gearing ratio, since I’m only doing the front. I have 2 other vehicles to drive, so I did not need to temporarily convert to 2wd. Shipping the diff and parts out cost $40 for 45lbs (all in state). Shipping back cost them $115, but one box was 87lbs (complete diff), and the other was far less, with ARB kit and ball joints. They ate $30, and only charged me $85. Total cost for me was about $2300, plus high $700s for a good deal on OEM CVs. That’s all new internals, except for bearing caps; locker, bearings, seals, gears, labor for locker install, air compressor, inflation kit, install kit, Torfab mount (direct from Torfab), c-clips, and ball joints. Cruiser outfitters was very reasonable with prices, and excellent to deal with.

The @cruiseroutfit guys are always super easy to deal with and super squared away.

Try replacing the EFI fuse. Worked for me with a similar problem.
