Got badly stuck in my 120 Series (Don't know why I wasn't driving the 100) and got yanked out by a buddy and his 100. He drove 2.5 hours to come save my a$$. At least the view was worth looking at while I was waiting....

Good to have a buddy! A 100 buddy brought me his spare 2 years ago to get me out. This year I paid it back by pulling his front drive hubs (I carry the right tools) to get him out and back home.

Snagged some OEM heavy duty mats

Those mats look great. I may have to pick up a pair. I have the weather tech ones and while they work, the fitment is pretty bad.

Yeah- I've never seen a pair like these before... I was surprised when I came across them.

Mind posting a link? How much were they? Look awesome!

I ordered one of these from ebay. The one I took off had grooves in the hole of the rear wiper that slid on the stud. The new one I got was just smooth on the inside of the hole. Was yours like this?

Yes, I assumed the aluminum is somewhat soft and the Splines will cut into it.

Had the U-joints replaced in the rear drive shaft and had it balanced. Helped a ton with a vibration I was feeling under moderate acceleration above 60mph.

FWIW, it was $60 for the 2 joints to be replaced and the shafts to be balanced. I supplied the Spicer brand joints.

For about $25 I made a screen for the back window to keep the bugs out while camping. I sourced the stuff on amazon. I trimmed the screen from the original size, which was pretty close, to help it fit around the lift arms. I found a dozen domino sized magnets which were actually the most expensive part, $15. There were cheaper ones, but these are plastic coated so the magnets won't chip and felt on the bottom so they are easy on the paint. It all stores super small when not in use.

Wildcat Extractors (headers) and 2.5-3" Outback exhaust on. Woot! love the response and sound. Power is much smoother and sustaining through the mid range. Nothing mindblowing but noticeable. Next stage is to install a Unichip so i can dyno tune the AFR's as she smells like shes running too rich. Reckon there is some small fuel savings to go with that too. However, Without any 02 sensors on the vehicle im stuck on a map designed for stock exhaust.

Previous owner got a little overzealous with bump stops. I know, given the condition of the already deteriorated bumper this is like curing a cancer patient with a cold but I do what I can with what I have for now lol.

(This is an example of paint transfer)

Today I figured out that my starting issue is not the starter or the starter relay. There’s no signal power going to the relay. The ignition relay is working but powers not making it to the starter relay. While digging around I found the previous owner had installed an alarm system on the truck. Which I have no fob for. No clue what the alarm is but I need to get it OUT of the truck. I’m thinking that’s the no crank problem.
