owch! keep an eye on those tyres looks like PO didnt rotate, the wearing looks very sharpPrevious owner got a little overzealous with bump stops. I know, given the condition of the already deteriorated bumper this is like curing a cancer patient with a cold but I do what I can with what I have for now lol.
(This is an example of paint transfer)

Absolutely, part of the reason I got it for as cheap as I did is because it needed new tires.owch! keep an eye on those tyres looks like PO didnt rotate, the wearing looks very sharp
That looks great, that snorkel, does it conform around the antenna? Mind posting the link where you got it? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that if it's raining, there's a drain on the bottom of the snorkel to make sure it doesn't go into the engine, correct?
Wildcat Extractors (headers) and 2.5-3" Outback exhaust on. Woot! love the response and sound. Power is much smoother and sustaining through the mid range. Nothing mindblowing but noticeable. Next stage is to install a Unichip so i can dyno tune the AFR's as she smells like shes running too rich. Reckon there is some small fuel savings to go with that too. However, Without any 02 sensors on the vehicle im stuck on a map designed for stock exhaust.

Not to be a smart ass, but how did you get that far off trail?

Doesn't appear to be a road there.
I think it was this cheap ebay one: for 98-07 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series Black Air Intake Snorkel System Ap59 for sale online | eBayThat looks great, that snorkel, does it conform around the antenna? Not harassing, but come on man, just turn around. This is why stuff gets closed down and we eventually lose the privilege to visit these places. You had other options. My rant is over. I am, however, very glad you made it out without injury or worse. Man you have a jam up buddy too! What a nice gestureThe road is where the glacier is right now. I *thought* I could hop off the road, under the glacier, and back up the other side. I ended up getting stuck in mud way softer than what it looked, getting pulled out, and subsequently having to go under the glacier anyway to get out. (The hill I came in on was too steep to get out of). So in the end, I got where I was trying to go but got stuck for three hours and had to get out of the valley a different way.
Don’t harass me, I learned my lesson

Got badly stuck in my 120 Series (Don't know why I wasn't driving the 100) and got yanked out by a buddy and his 100. He drove 2.5 hours to come save my a$$. At least the view was worth looking at while I was waiting....

That is not a glacier, but a snow drift.
Common practice is that if you can't get through it on the path of the road you turn around. What you did was not only dangerous, but very much against everything tread lightly. I hope you learned both lessons. I woulds suggest you read up at Home - Tread Lightly! about the do's and don'ts on trail riding. You are much safer trying to get out the way you came in.
Why could your buddy not have winched you up the steep hill you came in on. Or if it was so steep have one person hang back to make sure the trail is passable. You need to read up on high altitude tundra landscape and the realize the impact your actions had on that environment.
What size tire you running. May "show" more as most folks have a hitch bar blocking much of the tire.
