Put some new BFG KO2s 285 65 R18 on the cruiser yesterday. Damn Sidewalls on the Hercules Terra Trac AT just couldn't handle CP2s fat ass!! I kept tearing up the sidewalls.

Got a few wiring projects taken care of.

New battery terminals:

Aux and charging port off the GROM:

Replaced rear audio controls w/ dual USB:

Decided to drop the skids to change diff/transfer case gear oil and lube the driveshaft, took two hours and as many beers from start to finish. Very impressed with the access @benc built in and I think all could easily be done without removal, but I had a few other things (swaybar bracket bolt, rear O2 sensors) that I had to deal with as well.

Deleted the running boards on my 'new' '05 LX. Kind of a shame because those later model running boards are kind of bad ass.

Also did a sensor lift to clear the 34s going on tomorrow. Gained 1.5 to 1.75 inches pretty much all around, and one side still sits 1/2" lower like before. This is temporary, AHC delete is in the next week or so.

And lastly did the pinch weld mod. Found a very robust colony of ants living behind the liner in the cavity. Met half of them when they fell on my face. The rest got to meet the business end of my shop-vac.

Let’s see the 34s

Well, about that... I got the tires loaded up into the truck this morning then heard the mechanic was pretty slammed today. So, I unloaded them and did some pressure washing instead. I'll drop the truck off over the weekend and just have everything done at the same time (tires, AHC delete, etc...)

Rear looks low because it hadn't pumped back up after loading the tires*

A few months back, i hit some road debris while traveling out of town and broke the passenger headlight housing. My truck came with the glass housings and I wanted to keep them that way, but that meant sourcing a pair of glass headlights was going to be difficult.

I waited a few months and a Facebook ad popped up for a pair of 1999 LX470 headlights for $100. SCORE!

Currently going through a similar scenario but torn between the original glass, which is susceptible to chips and cracks, and the polycarbonate which is susceptible to yellowing over time. Why did you decide to go with the glass?

I wanted to keep with the glass housings because they were far less susceptible to yellowing over time. And, it also meant that I only needed to buy 1 headlight instead of 2. I did not want a mismatching set as the poly would certainly look more faded. It just so happened that the seller was offering both for less than 1/3 of what 1 would cost on Ebay.

Are you in need of a housing? if so, i might be able to help. PM me!

What wheels are those and do they require spacers?

Gear Alloy Big blocks and I do not have spacers. I got free tires and rims from a sponsor and this was one of the few rims options they had for a 100 series.

Finally finished my TD lift. Here it is compared to my friends ironman performance kit with fcp shocks.
First set is stock with spring spacers and torsion bar crank.
Second set is with TD kit.

I've since gone up another 1/4 inch up front.

I'm running a dual battery set up and bumper and i think i should've gone with the smaller shocks up front. It's a little rough on some surfaces compared to the ironman.

His sits about an inch higher in the rear and about half an inch in the front now.

Love the adjustable shocks in the rear.
