What gauge wire are you guys using for the jumper?
12 gauge wire fits best in the 1/4” female connectors.

I ordered this one for an LC and after I placed my order I messaged the seller to request the perforated sides.

I see they now have a black one for the LX's if I did it again I would order the LX and request the brown from the LC version as that brown matches perfectly even if it doesnt look like it in the photos.

Just ordered, instant reply, they claim they are all solid top and perforated sides. They call it 'dark brown', will see how it matches my 2001 LC. Guess I will have to cut the peeling leather off somewhat and maybe wrap it in electrical tape or something to keep the uniform 'thickness'. My wheel is ultra ugly.

I had a short period of “stiffness “ in my steering yesterday and found the fluid a little under the lowest line, refilled it and seems fine.. I hope that’s all it was

Finally getting around to changing the fluids in the axles and tcase. Here's a pic of the plug off the rear at 116k. Don't wait as long as me to change yours.

There was a clear bra that was probably 15 years old on my vehicle. Time + Weather eventually won the battle It was cracked, faded and made the front of my truck look pretty bad. So, I order a plastic scraper from Amazon, got the heat gun, and went slow. OMG I will be glad I never have to do something like this again. But, it's gone and looks so much better! You can't "feel" any glue anymore, but there is still some coloration difference, not sure if that will buff out or what. However, still looks 5x better.

I also got a new Thule Cargo Carrier. God Bless REI garage sales! This is a $720 dollar carrier, that PO "didn't think held enough" so returned it to REI. His loss is my gain for just $250!!! Like new! Eventually I plan on a Gamiviti, but this is a great stop gap for a year or two and can eventually be moved over to my wife's Highlander.

Decided to have some light maintenance done last Friday. Rotated tires and road force balanced. Found one bent wheel, which will serve as my spare until I decide to buy new wheels or replace the one bent wheel. Changed oil using M1 oil and K&N oil filter. Greased the drive shaft. Runs like a top.

How long on those sausages...... @2MinutesTurkish
hahahaha my man....you're only the second person to get that reference. At least publicly acknowledging it anyway. Beers on me.

Dude your cruiser looks great!
You know what they say about imitation and flattery....thank God our cruisers are at least differnt colors. Luckily I can't afford Hutchinsons  so this is where our wallets part ways. Maaaaaybeee afyer i buy that slick ram mount. In all seriousness, cheers to a motivational build thread. (This is all Jameson speaking. If I was sober, I'd have simply liked your comment and moved on)
