Did the front grill and couldn't be more surprised. For those wondering, as I was, this took 2 cans of flexidip black(actually used about 1) and 1 flexidip clear coat. Let's see how long it lasts.

I like it. But......that Starsky & Hutch in the background is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Nothing fun, flushed my brake fluid earlier in the week and had my tires balanced today.

Have parts for a reboot on both sides and a transmission drain and fill, just haven't had a large chunk of time to tackle those projects.

Bought a 3M Eraser wheel and deleted my 18 year old pinstripes. Those things were cooked on pretty good. I also finally got rid of the double sided tape that used to hold the vent shades on the front doors. Funny how much I didn't realize those two things bothered me, feeling good now.

185K miles on these shocks...had to retire them, rusted to hell and the rubber bushings were all pancaked and cracked. I can push down on the shock without any effort. It took an air gun of 1000ft lbs of torque to get bottom bolt off.

Sway bar links were also shot, bushes were worn and cracked.

If you haven't done this already, change these out to new ones and your truck will ride like new again...esp the high mileage ones in the rust belt area. It ain't easy, but it's worth it.

Second one. This one broke easy as I barely pulled on the hose.

Well everyone, my beloved 99 cruiser will not be so stock anymore! Just got off the phone with just differentials and ordered the super deluxe lift with icon stage 3s and rear upper and lower control arms. Hopefully will be here within the 2 week time frame they gave me

Not a bad way to spend $4500..... you are going to be super stoked on the ride!

Installed the new Slee led light brackets, led marker lights and Rigid fog lights. Looks really great and they're bright! Also installed the Slee dual battery kit with a group 27 battery. Got the one with space for the ARB compressor so when I do lockers one day I'm set for that. Really happy with the stuff, it's good quality.

Besides the latching mechanism, one of my biggest appeals to the dissent rear bumper was that the design allowed for lots of expandability.

I've had a hot water shower system since last year. The connectors used to live under the plastic flap on the tailgate. I always thought of it as a temp solution. This weekend I tackled a more permanent solution as well as added a sink.

The hose wrapped around the tire post are for the shower head. You can see the intake (right side) and exit (left side) connectors bolted directly to the swingarm. The hanger for the bucket is a simple tabbed piece of stainless and the mount for the faucet is a piece of angled aluminum.

Made a fabric sleeve to protect the hoses from the sun.

It also helps slightly disguise them.

I didn't have to drill a single hole in my swingout thanks to @benc design

Quick Instagram video of in in action.
