@turbodog56 might know a little about the differences in the odometer wheels. He helped me out a few years ago with a stuck 1/10 wheel.

Late night at the shop.

Went over after everyone went to bed. Smashed out my updated tire carrier.

So much more visibility with the tire on driver side.
So might tighter to the body and tidier.

Needs finish welded and my table added, then paint.

Home at 1am. 😴

Sunday afternoon I refoamed my driver seat and installed my seat heater.

Wow the doorman heaters get HOT. Like uncomfortably hot after 10 minutes.

I put a new more firm foam in the driver seat and it helped in the bottoming out aspect, however made the seat taller and I don’t love it.
We will see how it goes after a little break in and see if it’s better.

Also installed some simple lap belts in the front while I had time. I picked them up from seatbelts.com

Now just to plumb and wire the rear heater before this winter weather that’s forecasted. 🙄

Hellyeah man! Nice and I love the switch. I need to get off my rear end and get on my seats with heaters.

It looks like you can actually see the extra lift in the seat…. I’m sure it will compress within a short while, my 2 year old Silverado seat is starting to feel boney and I weigh about 175. Love the seat heaters !!!

Yes you can and feel it.

I wish I had done 2” foam instead of the 4”. I very well might, it’s not hard.

I am digging the simplicity of it and really all you need to make a sandwich or set your stove on it or set your beverage down.

I'm waiting for the sitting around the campfire story where he tells us about doing the thing he shouldn't have been doing on there 😏

It has these super cute baby latches that hold it closed.

I ordered bolt on magnets to simplify the process of open/ close. My gorilla hands do not operate those tiny latches well.

I thought it was the ExE one and thought dayum, someone won a big scratch off!

Thanks for the link. I’ve been wanting one for my swing out and like you said, that’s too cheap to make my own.

It’s actually really nice for $50.

I was impressed when I unboxed it.
If I had paid more attention during fabrication of my swing out I wouldn’t have had to modify.

I may try to fabricate one for my stock swing-out ‘75 tire carrier. It’s got an 1” to play with. In my SPARE TIME

Were you being punny?
