Well, I wasn't going to modify this but got a flat tire, which destroyed the crappy stock tire. Put on BFG KO2 295/70r18 (34.5") tires. No rubbing so far.
Speaking of crappy, maybe I drive too hard but my wild peaks are getting excessively worn on the outside...can't wait for them to go.

I recently installed Morimoto's, cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body, and have TRD front and rear sway bars as well as Bilstein 5100's to install (waiting for 5100's to arrive). Rolled over 200K on odometer last month, sprucing it up a bit.

Check this thread out, maybe the same issue?

I'm glad you thought it was OEM, as I was going for stealth look, but it's actually a Yakima Lock N load on custom brackets, I put some details here. It works really well with the T slot system, is a couple inches lower than the OEM rack, allowed me to easily mount the lightbar on the front, and most importantly has a lot more weight capacity than the OEM rack.
That's awesome, definitely had me fooled. I've been shopping around for a roof rack, this looks like a good contender.

2024 sr5 crewmax trd offroad, midnight black
just put on the 17" black method 703's with cooper st maxx and the trd sidesteps

3 yrs ago I got the green 2007 4.7 SR5 2wd. After 3 winters decided I needed a 4wd. I’m not driving my Cruisers in road salt. Last week I found a very cool 2010 RCSB 5.7. It’s a base model, manual window cranks but tight and not abused. I installed the SOS suspension lowering kit and airbags on the SR5.
New kit just arrived for the same on the 2010. It improves handling so much. Fun to drive.

honeymoon's over...
Towed 100 000+ lbs of driveway dirt out to the cabin over 3 days, hand spread every shovel full
Changed the oil for the 4rd time over 9k, at 500 1500 5k 9k due to noticeable fuel dilution evident in the first two oil changes

Swapped Red for a extra clean low mile Lunar Turd.
Pulled bumper Kings and Mag1900.
If anyone is interested in the supercharger, it is listed on the classifieds.
Super low hours in great condition.
Also I have a set of King 3.0 and Chaos arms.

It can't believe I've never seen this setup before. I literally just learned something new. Thank you. I've done similar with a soldering iron but never knew there existed an actual setup like this.
Got to agree with you, new to me. Very cool. What I have noticed is the number of us BC boys that
as our cruisers age we are getting into Tundras.

Either the cruiser aging or

it may have less to do with the age of the cruiser and more with the age of the driver, Lol. Cruisers are great, they're fun, they're reliable...but they don't do as well when it comes to needing stuff for home improvement projects or hauling toys and campers etc... You know, the things that come later in life.
