Installed a full set of BudBuilt skids on the FJ Cruiser. Got in such a hurry (like most times when I'm working on my rig) that I only took 1 pic.

And what a great picture it is. :p

Adjusted the driver side speaker so the window will go all the way down, for some reason it just recently was blocking the track...while I was in there I used polymer grease and greased up the rollers and tracks and it goes up a lot smoother and quieter now...also adjusted the rear tailgate catch and now it shuts flush with the tail lights....easy stuff but was fun to piddle on it after washing and vaccuming it and the 4 runner today

I thought I would make some shock mounts for the 62 yesterday. They work exactly as I planned, but now my shocks are a little too long. I think I will go ahead and order some extended shocks for it, but at least they are hooked up now.

I changed the other O2 sensor and the starter. The starter was a huge pita to remove. I plan to rebuild it and keep it as a spare.

tappity-tappity from my Android device

Try a V8 starter...talk about a PITA.

Steve, did you run into Captain Crunch there this weekend. He's one of us LCLC. He drives a silver FJC somewhat built. Very nice.

Installed a new speedometer cable in the 55 (got if from Cruiser Corps) they claim it is 71" tip to tip but it was longer than I am tall and I am 76" tall....it is actually a little too long... but nice quality esp for the price. I also installed a stainlesstrays.com battery tray, and got all the taillight sockets cleaned and working with new bulbs.

1987 fj 60: Cleaned the tint off the windows, except cant get all of it off the rear windwow.., installed a new gasket between the carb and the air filter housing, and a new air filter, new wiper blades, new fender side marker lights, new rear side marker light bulbs, new brake bulbs, cleaned one seat, will change the antenna tomorrow morning...and see if I can adjust the clutch engaging point on the pedal, and slave cylinder pushrod (seems to be the source of the clunk).

Talked to my tire guy about a new set of 235/75/15 dunlop Ats and he quoted me 150$ each out the door...

Got to work on my new hood that Gabe gave to me (Via JP I was told)

Thanks again!

Got it sanded down, hammered out a dent and shot with epoxy primer, sanded again, a little bondo to smooth out a dent and shot it with sanding / builder primer last night.

More sanding today. Yay!

Let me know When your done, mine could use alot of work too.

My Hood is going to require a piece being welded in. I have about a six inch section missing on the front edge. It will have to wait though. Got a few minor things to fix on the 40 before GSMTR. I also have a set of shackles and a 2 inch lift to put on the 62 later this summer.

Scott - ill continue the love and give you my current hood if you want it. It is rust free, but has a couple minor dents that are repairable.

I'll be down your way within the next 30 days or so, or you can pick it up here.

Shoot me a PM if you want it.
