Got back to my MAFIA roots...... and decided to do a rattlecan paint job on my new FJ45LWB 
With my dads resto. on his FJ45LV still on going I just don't have the time to dedicated to a full on paint job for the LWB, but I wanted something a little more appealing than the primer red it currently is.
So went to Lowes and what do you know they have colors that are very close to Spring Green and Horizon Blue, so I did at little test panel on the back of the cab.
Ended up going with the Horizon Blue color as I felt the green had a little too much of a yellow hue in it. So for a test run I did the rear bed of 45, sanded primed and shot it. I am pleased with the results I used a satin finish so it hides imperfections well. Best part is I have about $25 inevested and that was enough to do the whole bed, for another $50 I should be able to do the front cab. inside and out

It is real. At least we know you own the bed. 
Very nice. Blue looks good. Looks like you have some rust repairs to do. Frame looks to be in really good shape.

Thanks man, I couldn't believe Lowes had colors similiar to the OEM 60's colors.... I gues those pastel colors must be coming back around now. And yes when I removed the top I found some rust on the upper cab. nothing an angle grinder and the welder can't fix in a jiffy

Wheeled CMP thanks to the 80 hauling the Sprite there and back without
a problem.
My friend of 40 years hauled his Caterham to the track with his 80.
We did the caravan thing. Looked pretty cool trucking along.
At least it appeared so to rubber necking passersby, some of whom took pics.

Someone broke out my window. Stole my pistol and Ipod touch. Cops said there were 8 break ins last night in my neighborhood and they are still counting. Over 3/4 of them had firearms stolen.
I know I'm inciting a riot here but why would you keep a pistol in your car at night? Do you people not take them in the house?

The more you handle a gun, the more accidents happen. All it takes is a lapse of memory to forget it is in your backpack from removal and your kid gets a hold of it. It is safer for me to just leave it in the glove box of a locked car with a locked glove box.

That sucks man, it is times like these I am glad I don't live in a nice neighborhood and drive a nice new car, it isn't worth anyones time to break into my 80
Just found out homeowners has to cover the contents. Unless they catch the guy and find my stuff looks like I just lost 1200 worth of stuff. Fxxxing crackheads.
My deductible is 1000 and it will cost me more down the road just to claim 200.

I leave my car unlocked. I figure the window and damage to the car is worth more than the contents inside. Plus if someone broke in my car they would certainly have a WTF moment as everything is crap inside.
