What did you do with your truck this week?

hose clamps are the best part invented by man since C-clamps.

The only reason i like C clamps better is because it's impossible for a hose clamp to hold a turbo onto a turbo manifold.

started switching out the doors i picked up from 3pitts. Also received a pair of fog lamps and spare alternator. Gonna start building an emergency kit. Gonna switch out the front fenders and doors when i have some help.

What are u gonna call it if you replace all the dented panels??

Jezebel comes to mind. Always stabbing me in the back.

Straightened out the drop brackets and swapped out the tweaked sway bar on the 80 for a less bent one
who knew a front end collision could torque the rear sway so easy ???

Fiddled with the rear knock sensor PO300: cut and soldered plug at break in insulation, no change, time to pull and ohm it out I guess.

Finished welding up the winch plate for the 45 and dropped it off for a coat of powder. Winch coming soon.... for work of course :D

More rust cutting.... the saga continues

Drove 500 miles round trip yesterday and the cruiser only cut off 3 times. Next step fix the issue as soon as my 350z is sold. Then on to my front end rebuild.

Headed to Wilmington to pick up some stuff and visited with my fam over in Florence, prob at least 500 miles and close to 3 tanks of gas.

Wheeled at snowbird. The Lexus GX works!

I actually hadn't driven the 40 for a month at least. Yesterday was a nice day so I loaded my daughter in the cruiser and turned the key and the old gal started right up with no hesitation. Got to love fuel injection. Drove Josie around to various auto parts stores looking for some springs for my carbs. Great day.

I also cleaned one of my work benches off.

Wonderful weekend! Used the truck to take my son along picking up diesel fuel for the tractor, sawing up firewood, and then loading him in it and going to Harbeson State Forest for a little 2.5 mile hike. I was impressed that it kept his attention the whole time and he didn't get tired from walking. It's amazing what the great outdoors does for kids.

We came across an old locomotive in the Discovery area, and he points and yells out, "What the hell!" When I asked him why he said that, he responds with I thought that's what you say when you see something really big.

I wheeled the GX for the second time. I would say the first time "really wheeling" as I got to try out some rocks.
