Went to the Cove and led a few Tacomas and a massively built Disco all day Saturday. After leading the day-trippers back out to US41, Me (& Kitty) and Daniel P drove back into the trails to camp. Perfect weather and awesome wheeling. Explored a few caves and nobody in the group damaged anything (It was the first time out for one of the double cab Tacos). Daniel had his newly "flat-bedded" Taco and it did great.

Sunday morning we got up and continued northerly through the trail system. This place looks so different each time we come because of all the flooding they get. We only knew where we were because of the GPS tracks I've saved over the last few trips up there. I broke another CV on the trail and once I got extracted from the mud hole that ate it, we changed it on the trail in no time.

Man that place looks awesome!! SO WHY HAVNE'T WE HAD A CLUB TRIP THERE YET??? :bounce::beer::bounce2:

I don't think many UC folks feel like driving that far. It's about 30 minutes west of Chattanooga. Easily a few days worth of wheeling though.

A new "trophy" for my mantle.

How high can you reach? Crazy off camber ruts near the end.

One of my favorite spots along the Saturday trail run.

Well being an Augustian now it is just as close to any other wheeling to me, so I am in next time if you have room...... Though I'd love to get a club ride up there sometime this winter/ spring if you'd be up for leading it. Looks like the closest thing to the Whee we've got

I agree, I'd be in also.

Took the 62 to ACC while I'm in ATL for work. Gonna see if they can get some things figured out for me.

Well...ACC found my coolant leak.

Drove the 55 to Galveston Island for a girls weekend. Cat is here along with 4 others from Atlanta. So happy to see friends and to get out in the piggy. You should see the looks...5 chicks ina 55. Awesome.

He should really attend some landcruiser functions too....seeing how he owns 2 of them.....makes ya wonder

You keep adding stuff to that FJ you are going to have increase the load rating on those tires.

Jeremy

E rated baby!

I own 1 LandCruiser and 1 FJ Cruiser. :flipoff2:

I was at and sponsored GSMTR, and took a bunch of FJ Cruisers to Snowbird last month. I also sponsored Logans Run last month at URE even though I couldn't attend. Rovers are big supporters of Southeast Overland so I have to show them some love back! :steer:

And lest we not forget - how many Land Cruiser events have to you been to in the past few years Chucky-poo? :flipoff2::flipoff2:

On Chucks defense there haven't been many events to come to this past year. I will say Chuck used to come to a lot of monthly meetings. I think now he is an 8-5 guy we will see him more. That being said Chuck sucks.

I drove the 40 to work today. It was in the 50's this morning and a little chilly with no top but I just kept thinking of how JP used to always rough it. The ride home will be worth it.

Translation = "I love Chuck!" (as Marshall punches Chuck in the nuts)

ETA: I've been going wheeling about twice a month now that it's cooled off. Anyone is always welcome to go with me if you don't mind mixing with FJ Cruisers, Jeeps and Rovers.

im sure u could use some help pulling the jeeps and rovers out of trouble.

I threw on some 30mm spring spacers on all four corners. Just wanted to give the 315's a little more room for stuffin. Of course, raising the undercarriage just over an inch is a nice fringe benefit too. I'll try to remember to post a pic this weekend.

Got the shortened bed back from blast and paint. Now waiting on the finished chassis and other parts.

Looks great Jim....... I have to get you those buckets sometime this week. What time will you be home on Monday, i've got to swing by kyles anyway.
