Actually...the 1FZ will still run with a melted engine harness AND blown head gasket. Sometimes for years, as it turns out :flipoff2:

I'm sure it will. As my 3FE has been running with a butcher relay hack job for 12 years. Finally forced me to take the 10 minutes to fix it. Had the parts in my 80 and could've fixed it with my multi-tool but did it the right way. If I hadn't been in such a hurry to get to my volunteering gig to help low-income elementary school kids learn to read then I would've just fixed it right away. :flipoff2:

Those low income elementary kids will still be there tomorrow :flipoff2:

(Man, that sounded messed up)

Unfortunately some of them will be. It's a cool program through the Zach Johnson Foundation (professional golfer from Cedar Rapids, IA where I live and a stand up guy). I volunteer for some things with them but also work for them (I use the term "work" loosely because it's really fun and it doesn't pay s***!). We do learning labs and also enrichment programs in ceramics, different sports, drama, etc. Basically the things that poor kids with s***ty parents don't get to do. Also, every kid will receive a college scholarship when they graduate from high school. There are approximately 300 kids age first-sixth grade. In order to get the scholarship they have to earn it by participating in after school activities and getting good grades.

Anyway...my 80 is fixed and will get me to work and volunteering tomorrow. :grinpimp:

....sorry couldn't help it.

I used to manage a restaurant in Cedar Rapids, and my wait staff all had second jobs as "exotic dancers".

Inside Cedar Rapids joke: My favorite smell is Tuesday, when they make Crunchberries.

Tuesday when they make crunchberries and Thursday is maple brown sugar oatmeal day. The smell is heavenly!

Drove my 80 to work this morning. Got a call from my son. My daughter rear ended someone on the way to school. Right turn lane with its own lane around the turn and the lady ahead of them slammed on her brakes because the light turned red for straight ahead traffic. The right hand land doesn't have a light. No airbag deployment. Just bumper cover damage to both cars, for the most part. Probably a 10mph impact.

Not the weekend but in prep for the weekend. Note to self dont install a new fan and shroud at dusk. You end up puncturing the toyota 3 row radiator. There goes the weekend.
