Voltage dropping @ a stop/low RPM is normal when running your lights & heater blower on high. It's not uncommon for the lights to dim & the blower slow down when you're coming/come to a stop. If it really bothers you an upgraded alt. is the only way to fix that situation. It doesn't bother me enough to invest the time/money into the Seq./Tundra alt. & bracket & belt & ????

It's not a top priority for me now but will get done this spring. I'm really leaning towards completely rebuilding my 3FE when school is out in May. 233k on the clock and all original seals and gaskets. She leaks a little bit...out of EVERYWHERE. I have my summers off so I'll have the time and I think it'd be a fun project for my son and I to do. If I do that it only makes sense to do the @Photoman alt mod and have the piece of mind.

Thanks to smittycrusher for the gift in the mail today! Pure class. This is the coolest group of dudes I've never met personally.

"Jeff,
I hope that this helps you keep your cruiser "wheels down!"

Pure class.

Yep. I tried to give him some money for postage as well and he wouldn't take it.

I could not possibly own my Land Cruiser if it wasn't for this forum.

Thanks Woody!

I purchased my 94 FZJ-80 about two months ago and had no baseline on the PHH. Decided to purchase the kit for about $30 and replace it. As it turns out mine had been replaced at some time in its history and it was not critical but probably had another year of service left but....who knows. Now I know and it is worth it for a piece of mind. View attachment 1011120
Good idea. I need to do that. Have no mx history on my 5-mo-old-to-me '94.

Oooh, my seat covers showed up for my 80. Sad to see the brown tweed get covered up (seriously. I love the brown tweed interior.) but it's going to look good when done. And my second wiring harness showed up. Now, do I order back up lights and yodaTeq's mounts or install the under hood lights like I had originally planned? hmmm.

...first weekend with her in my driveway. ...gas tank was hissing a little and start up was a little longer than my liking so I swapped my vapor canister out for a new one. ...Problems solved! ...or at least those two are checked of the list.

Finally got my flares off, then my starter decided to crap out. Looks like the PO has a Bosch unit on there. Thanks to a call to @Trollhole I was able to get her fired up. @beno , I'll be calling you Monday for new starter.

Thanks Onur.

Crap weather kept me inside so I'm finishing the console USB outlet wiring & switch wiring

Attempted to get my flares off, only got the rear trim piece of the OEM running boards off though. Both sides.

While wheeling at the Tillamook State Forest. :)

Gave her a much needed bath and cleaned out the cab. Topped off fluids.

Went for an urban cruise.

Valve cover gasket. And every vacuum and water tube I could reach.

OK, I have tiny hands. Still, what a bitch.
