How much did that trailer run you? It looks sick

The difficult part is finding one, and one which is in good condition. There were less than 2,000 of these made, and only a handful were imported to the US from Canada. Very similar to the M416 trailer, but a bit more modern and robust. Prices vary, depending on condition, and the amount of modifications made by the previous owners. Not a lot come up for sale, so you have to be ready to jump and drive to get one of these; which is what I did.

Interested in this, what parts to order and where? Thanks

Here is the parts list:

94640A365
2 x Alloy Steel Tube-End Weld Nut, Fits 1-1/4" Tube OD, .120" Wall Thickness, 3/4"-16 Right-Hand Thread4
each $6.12

92620A881
1 x High-Strength Steel Cap Screw - Grade 8, 3/4"-16 Fully Threaded, 6" Long, Zinc-Plated, packs of 12
packstoday10.65
per pack $21.30

93839A840
1 x Zinc Yellow Plated Grade 8 Steel Thin Hex Nut, 3/4"-16 Thread Size, 1-1/8" Width, 27/64" Height, packs of 10
pack $11.71

1. Cut the hex head off the bolt.
2. Assemble the parts on the rod (tube end, nut, nut, tube end). Leave a 1/8" to 1/4" gap between the two nuts in the middle.
3. Remove your panhard bar.
4. From beveled edge to beveled edge on the tube ends is the distance that needs to be cut out of your panhard. Measure approximately 6" to 8" down from the bushing. Wrap blue low-tack tape at these markings to get a perfectly square cut. I used an angle grinder to cut the bar and a bench grinder to make the edges flat.
5. Add a bevel to the cut end for welding. The panbard bar is DOM tubing and there is a seam on the inside that needs to be ground down. I used a dremel to remove the seam and some additional material so the tube end would fit.
6. Install the one tube end into the short piece of panhard bar.
7. Thread the rod to the end of the tube end and put two tack welds on the back of the tube end.
8. Press the tube end and rod into the longer piece of the panhard.
9. Weld the beveled edges of the panhard and tube ends.
10. Thread the two nuts back onto the rod and thread the short piece of panhard onto the rod. Initially, add 1/2" between the two nuts on the panhard.
11. Reinstall the panhard and center up the axle under the rear.

Our group got out for fun and games at one of the Fuji play parks. Sorry no footage of my truck but there are a few other 80's, FJ's, Safari's, Jimny's and Heeps... Just skip to minute 2:00 for the interesting bits.. The days theme was "No lockers,,, no airing down....Where can you go?"

( Warrenton Virginia). ask for Bryan. You have to arrive early so theres a big chance they can do it in one day. If you will be late call them. in my case i arrive 11:30 am from baltimore thats why i have to come back to following day. I towed it in a trailer ( so they can work on it asap- exhaust pipe not hot)-

thanks for your post iptman (Patrick)

Changed the oil. Did some cleaning of the engine while I was under it. Then finally replaced the blower motor relay so I have high speed blower! Didn't realize the relay is the same one used elsewhere in the truck. Had 5 of them on hand. Took 5 minutes. Haven't had high speed in 6 years. Ugh. Tomorrow I am going to finish tracking down what is wrong with my horn, install a new driver door window run, and start pounding out my caved in TJM front bumper!

That was awesome, thanks for sharing, great seeing some action in Japan!

just spent the day thinking about what I could possibly be doing with the LC! needed about $100,000.00 to do everything i wanted to do to it! :(
How short are you on the $, if you're at like $96K I'd just go for it and see where you end up :)

Death Valley National Park. I was hypermiling the Cruiser (stock) and got 17.6 mpg on the I-15 returning. Cruise control @ 65mph.
