Installed a "knockoff" snorkle. What a PITA. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to pull some chicks in the 80 now.
Pics of the snorkle or the 80 filled with hot chicks who now flock to it???

Picked it up from the mechanic. Drove it down to the DMV and traded inspection certificates for plates and tags. Applied said plates and tags.
Bought a folding trailer to pull with it from harbor freight. Dude at HF nervously asked whether i brought a truck. I assured him that i am 100% certain that i could bring home those two boxes in my GTI, but yes, i brought a truck.
Raided my parents' garage for lumber. Brought home a full sheet of OSB and several short lengths of 2x4 in it.
Bought a bucket of mistinted paint for the deck and sides at the habitat store.
Took out the driver's seat and started drilling out the seat rails before i realized that the landtank brackets are for power seats and i have manual seats. Put the seat back together and i hope that the partially drilled out rivet and spot weld don't bust on me before i have some other solution together. For once I'm glad i dulled a drill bit by forgetting to use a good cutting oil.
Built trailer, cut sheet of OSB in half and got layer of pale green paint on it before it started raining.
