Those look burly. I've been wondering how these perform, but haven't seen many reviews on them. Keep us up to date on how you like them.
I sure will. I’m happy with the overall design and look of the tires. Once I get the spacers installed on the front I can chalk test them for proper pressure and take them out and see how they perform.

Refurbished the OEM 5-spoke wheels back to their original glory and installed new 295/75/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's! :bounce:

Those look fantastic!...who did the work?

Thanks @Orange Hat ! I am beyond impressed at how they came out, totally exceeded my expectations. Work was done at Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists in Spring, TX on the north side of Houston. AWRS is a national chain that is franchised out, and the one here in town was highly regarded. 5-star experience across the board.

Man, those wheels look good. Wouldn't think stock wheels could look so good but those certainly do.

Thanks @gixxerjasen ! I shopped the aftermarket long and hard, and just couldn't find anything that peaked my interest over the classic 5-spokes. The OEM wheels are just incredibly tough to beat with respect to overall quality. The shop absolutely knocked it out of the park, beyond pleased with the results.

Aint she pretty!

It is! So is this one...

New engine is not going in this one but it is still getting some love.

Cheers

Good to know. I was messing with my door the other day and noticed that trangle is really in there. Being as mine is brand new I really did NOT want to break it.
i’d be interested to know if you can get the panel off without damaging the vinyl there. some may be a tighter fit than others.

Finally finished off some major work on brake system....new soft lines, new rotors, calipers, brakes. And though that improved the braking tremendously, I also ordered the master cylinder upgrade from cruiseroutfitters (thanks Kurt) And can I say WOW!!!! I can actually stop my rig, especially panic braking.

So it was the master cylinder upgrade that really made the difference? Got a link for that? I need all the braking help I can get. ;)
