Got my new light bulbs from superbrightleds. Went with red for the map light. Because I can.

I had a LED in the first dome light that I picked up from AutoZone for a ridiculous $10. Ordered a handful of the others for all my 80s. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Holy chit! I can actually see inside!

Agreed. Leds make a huge difference and draw so much less power. Great mod

These are waiting in AZ at Zuk's, project this weekend eat turkey pull thirds box and ship by Monday.

Bunch of work today.

Bypassed EGR and smog pump, per Mud instructions.

Fixed wiring on Amazon back up camera.

Installed porch light, for use camping. Should be handy for lighting the ladder area when we get our RTT.

Wired the porch light to this remote relay from Anzo. It has 4 circuits, each with it's own on/off button on the fob. Will be handy for lighting around the 80, as well as having the ability to light the ground from inside the tent, with a push of the button.

"Discovered" the debris/drain canister under the air cleaner. My geek brain rejoiced at the engineering detail. Dont know the technical name for this part, but cool concept.

Oh, and wired up the Rigid fogs. Brilliant.

The technical term is squirrel cage as far as I can tell! The first time I opened mine there were corn kernels in it!

Yesterday I did about 60 mild off-road miles from Lake Talquin (just west of Tallahassee) down through the Apalachicola National Forest and Tate's Hell State Forest* to Carrabelle.

Fire danger was high and it was DUSTY!

Fortunately, there were some less-traveled sections.

The New River looked like it came straight out of a Charlie Daniels' song about Wooley Swamp.

The New River has some nice private campsites.

And with that, I've hit every state on the East Coast.

*The Legend of TATE'S HELL...
A tale that has been told for many years recounts how Tate's Hell Swamp got its name. Local legend has it that a farmer by the name of Cebe Tate, armed with only a shotgun and accompanied by his hunting dogs, journeyed into the swamp in search of a panther that was killing his livestock. Although there are several versions of this story, the most common describes Tate as being lost in the swamp for seven days and nights, bitten by a snake, and drinking from the murky waters to curb his thirst. Finally he came to a clearing near Carrabelle, living only long enough to murmur the words, "My name is Cebe Tate, and I just came from Hell." Cebe Tate's adventure took place in 1875 and ever since, the area has been known as Tate's Hell, the legendary and forbidden swamp.

Loaded up the 93 with the canoe and went fishing for smallies. Caught a bunch but it was a bit chilly.

Replaced my air filter prior to leaving. Thanks @beno for the care package yesterday. Air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump sock/screen thingy, and new gasket. And a different Onur surprise in the box this go 'round!

Without a picture of the "different onur surprise" this whole thing sounds slightly questionable. Just sayin'....

Part number for the red LED? PO of mine swapped in LEDs but the white is way too harsh in the map light, bright as hell though

Purchased from superbrightleds.com. The red isn't nearly as bright. But I like it.
