Yeah, I'll get it loose. Just haven't had ton of time.

hot wrench is fast ... heat the area for a couple minutes , then pipe wrench it off... easy 5 minutes a side ...If you don't have a gas welder, use a propane torch... they work just as well ....

Running Boards gone. Paint waxed.
Stared in utter amazement and awe at how rust free and clean the undercarriage is. I swear it looks about a year old.

Sooo last week I started replacing my wiring harness. Took everything apart and just when I was getting to the point of no return, I decided to rip apart the harness at where the EGR was. I removed the EGR to get it out of the way. After opening up roughly two feet of the harness I found my culprit. Two wires had shorted a little further down from the primary EGR burn. Turns out one of the wires went to fuel injector #2. The other wire was supply current. It shorter out and I believe it killed the injector. The injector is dead dead.

@jtwopark loaned me his spare set of injectors and I shipped those out to RC Engineering. Should have them back any day now. Kinda sucks that I gotta take apart so much stuff to replace the injectors. Oh well. At least my AC is working at the house. Oh wait, no it's not.

118* yesterday and 114* the day before. The inside of my house was 99*. I wasn't doing a damn thing.

Sucky about the heat. It does kinda suck getting to everything. I know I saw somewhere, but what were your symptoms? I thought you had to have upgraded injectors for the supercharger? Or is that an old wives tail?

Motor was stumbling after my trip to Overland Expo. I still need to do that write up. PO302.

I considered larger high impedance injectors but needing a matching MAF pipe and piggy back system made me put on a back burner. If I need more fuel I think I'll just do a 7th injector setup from Split-Second.

Joey you failed to mention my spare wire harness!! Lol!

Just went through Lewi yesterday. Lots of good trails around that area. You ever get toward Elk City?
haven't been that way in quite a while. Where are some of the trails you've been on? I honestly haven't been able to get out on many yet. Kind of making the transition from dirt bikes to 4x4 after blowing out my knee last year.

I guess it depends on your style. I have not been on any of the trails off Magruder rd but have hear there are many off the main road. Crooked river has some good scenery and fun gravel road with some cool crossings. Closer to Grangeville, many are closed off due to fire danger but depending on the time of year, there are still opportunities to get out. I want to start exploring the Winchester area more the next time I am down there.

99 in the house? Holy :censor:!

You need to collaborate with Trane on a Wit's End air conditioner. 118 sounds like here in Phoenix!

I had tried to sell my truck a few months ago without much luck. I decided that was a stupid idea anyway and would rather put some more $$$ into her. So, made the 7 hour drive to drop her off with the folks at ACC for a little TLC. First time in the new shop and it's NUTS. So many cool rigs being worked on. Can't wait to pick her up!

I need to align my front end still. I tweaked the tie rod and the ends are frozen. Been spraying with PB and will continue each night this week, then attempt to move it again Saturday with a bigger pipe wrench.

I've had to un-stick two tie rods and one relay rod.. there is no way that was happening while on the truck. In all three having to get both ends loose at the same time definitely would have broken something. As it is I have a nice flat spot on my relay rod from the pipe wrench crushing it during the initial attempt

Ended up with the rod in a medium pipe wrench on the ground, a 3-foot section of pipe over the TRE stud, PB blaster and MAP gas on the sleeve to get it to loosen up. On every joint, just cracking it loose wasn't enough.. there was enough rust and crap in the threads that it was creaking and extremely difficult to turn the TRE for 10+ turns.

Now they are assembled with anti-seize and even after being clamped solid for a year they can generally get moving again by hand once the clamps are loose.

Overall point is, for me it had to be one TRE at a time with the part off the truck where I had room to work or it wasn't happening without further damage.

Yosemite on Saturday.

I know I know I'm giving it attention I promise :(

Oh no. I need to buy one of those now as a spare? Damn! It never ends. The list grows longer and longer the more I read this forum.

Didn't you know that it is common practice to buy another truck for spare parts?
