Haha. Yeah you never know. They do say genuine Australian sheepskin but who knows. We'll see how long they last in there. I can't seem to find any seat cover I like. But these are damn comfy. Will most likely go on my beater Corolla.

I've had those Costco sheepskin covers for a couple years. They've been great but the passenger side has started to disintegrate.

I torque mine way more than 25. Not sure if it is right, but seems to do the trick for me and does not seem to overheat. I seem to have to go in there every couple of years anyway.

I did like 30 when I repacked mine recently. One was really loose. Recent 1000+ mile road-trip and no worries.

I was using sear's torque wrench.....NM, they are the same.

Yes, inner preload nut should be torqued to 25ftlb especially when running larger tires. Outer locknut should be 47ftlb and don't forget the locking tabs for BOTH inner and outer nut.

Agreed and also have a set of those in my parts box, just waiting for the preload nut to get loose again or the next rebuild. At the current rate that might be a while, the 25lb preload suggested by good folks from AZ have been holding up great even with big tires and wheeling.

Same plan here... It's become routine to check mine before every drive that takes be further then my towns boundary.

I noticed a little "shimmy" in my passenger wheel. Was going to do my knuckle rebuild last weekend but it was -5F degrees. My heater would've been working its butt off to keep it comfortable in there. Don't have time to do it this weekend as it's the first show choir competition of the year for my daughter and indoor baseball practice on Sunday for my son. So it will wait. But I will check the tightness of my nuts tonight.
