Went wheeling with Jenna to old mine site in SE Arizona called the Hilton Mine. Picked up tons (ok probably about 1500 pounds) of really cool travertine, flow stone, chrysacolla, various crystals, etc. And made a new friend, glad she was sleepy from the cool night.

Nice! Can you please give a little more detail? Do you need spacers with these? If not, what is the back spacing on these 16 x 8's? Thanks.

Finally replaced my fuel filler neck. It had been leaking and was rusted pretty badly!
Thanks to George at Valley Hybrids for having one that was practically brand new!
Orangefj45 for the win!

Here is my spot at work you can see where I'd been leaking, but there are no drips today!

I'm on spring break so I am considering this the weekend.ha
I finally got to see my 60! Omg it is clapped out.lol Po was obviously not a maintenance guy. The egr hose had rotted out and caused a huge exhaust leek in the engine bay that had never been addressed so it is compleatly caked in soot, he had to have been driving it like this for atleast a year. Also some of the interior repairs are comically bad.lol
But NO BAD RUST! I am still very excited to finally own a 60 and will have it back to a good conditing running rig in a couple years hopefully:) I just need a rotted out parts rig with a good interior, and a good 2f.lol
Here's some pics :)

Wow
That looks like my 60 when I bought mine. You will be spending some quality time with that rig.
Good luck and enjoy read a lot and learn a lot.

I have a bunch of parts I'm about to put up for sale...not parted out, but have some items out of my 87FJ60 that might be of use to you....Issaquah's not too far from Spokane I guess. Let me know what you're looking for. (ie have front seats that are in excellent condition)

It's what I'll be doing for my 60... Maybe not this weekend but soon!
Outta the way, Samson.

I love rock hunting!! I've ruined more containers with rocks than anything. Cool critters you have there.

Looks like a black-tail rattlesnake. Nice.

Took a quick trip to Bankhead National Forest in NW Alabama to collect water samples from Rush Creek for an eDNA study on a rare salamander.

Want to switch jobs!!! You got the black tail called correct, our most common of course is the western diamondback but I had never seen one of these this color. It was a gorgeous animal, not at all concerned with me right next to it.

There was a time I wanted to live in the desert but now I'm stuck in the southeastern US. I'm not ready to give up the biological work I do with the freshwater turtles, salamanders, snakes, and a few other things. It's been a long time since I've seen a wild black tail and gorgeous describes many of the rattlesnakes if you approach them with curiosity and caution. The coloration and patterns of the scales is often unique from one individual to the next.
