Edit: NVM google says it’s literally a brand of undercoating product, my bad!

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s NH oil? In the last decade we’ve started using Calcium Chloride in Alaska (even as a dust palliative in the summer) it’s really taking a toll on undercarriages!
Search NH Oil. It’s a thin oil product that is similar to fluid film ( no smell). It’s professionally applied to prevent rust on frame, axles, inside doors, hood & tail gate.
We use magnesium chloride. It’s terrible for my car(s). I found a product called Salt Gone as well. You hook to garden hose. Not sure how good it can be applied under your rig but it’s great on paint.
Time will tell.

Stripping out the old gutter caulk for a reseal. Off and on I've had leakage down the A pillars and I think I found the source. Where the roof line turns down to the A pillar is a body joint and the caulk had pulled back leaving a small hole. Tools were two sacrificial screwdrivers with tips sharpened, a hammer, near useless Gear Wrench picks, and a wire wheel. Hammer and small screwdriver knocked out most of the caulk. I had only a few spots with surface rust. Gutters cleaned, wiped down with acetone, and flooded with rust convertor, then rust convertor wiped out. 3M goo will be going in tomorrow and a coat of paint on Wednesday.

Almost positive mine needs this too

Finally got the rear quarters painted and rear cross member that was crusty and rusty cut out. (No photos of that) / ordered some 70 series mirrors, 70 series sun visors, 4 runner wipers from CruiserMatt and new rear side maker light. Just needing to get ready for a weld together 4x4 labs rear bumper and try to source some inner rocker panels. I have the outer portion from Wolf Steel, does anyone have any sources on a good set of inner rockers or have most fabricated something up!

I'm not sure what you mean by "inner" rockers but Wolf Steel has rocker panels that I used and were nice and a good price.

Oh no, I have those Gear Wrench picks but haven't had to use them for much yet. What did you not like about them? The rest of their tools have been really solid for me.

How embarrassing, looks like there was a glitch in the postings today and I posted a message several times. Sorry folks.

I only used a couple of smaller picks and what I encountered was the pick pulling out of the handle when I used the pick to pull strongly at a piece of sealant. The handles are not fused to the pick portion. That's my complaint.

Gutters are sealed and if I still have leakage I know it will not be from the gutters. I used one tube of Eastman seam sealer.

Over the years I've had Yakima canoe racks, a homemade roof rack using Confer mounts, and lastly a Bowfin rack on the 60. Gutters have not suffered any damage from any of these roof mounts and the loads that have been carried.

Jim thanks for posting this, I need to do the same. Unfortunately my gutters are a little beat up from when i forgot that the rig doesn't fit in my garage with the basket on top. 😕

Some tips, do it when the air temp is 70 or more, I did it in the upper 60s and the sealant flowed ok but if warmer it would have been better. Tape off anything that you do not want sealant on, and use a second person to pull the tape once the sealant has begun to set up. I did it by myself, did not tape because my goal was simply to seal the gutters and I'm not concerned about a little stray sealant. Use gloves. Use popsicle sticks or something similar to spread the sealant as it may not fill all the gaps. I used my gloved finger and it was messy.

I need to do this.

Looks good.

looks like I’ll be using self leveling sealant.

Scored some door cards and cleaned them up nice to replace funky ones in the 60.
The pass rear has this seat belt decal, unfortunately this one has a few tears so I’ll keep the my original and possibly sell this one with the decal.
Armor all really makes these look great!

Are those 285/75r16s on the 70 Series wheels?

Yesss sssir. I use to have 255/85R16 Toyo MT, But availability is too limited and they're now really expensive... and, so, the deal for these Cooper AT3 XLTs was too tempting !
