I had that issue with the fuel pressure regulator too. It came that way from the factory.I decided to go full send with my Holley system… found out my sniper issues were due to a faulty fuel pressure regulator. Pulled the factory one out and put I’ll be installing a regulated return today. Got a cheap Amazon one for testing then I’ll grab an aeromotive FPR and Radium pulse dampener if my plan checks out.
Summit had all the hyperspark stuff on Black Friday so I dug Into the slush fund.

My water pump broke on Wednesday just as I got to work, at first look I thought the radiator cap had gone bad. At the end of the day I looked again as I was adding fluid and noticed the belt off. I then saw the fan and pulley were inches from the pump. The fan had wedged into the shroud. Thankfully, the radiator wasn’t hurt. New water pump is on the way so while I’m waiting I did the split shroud modification. I had an extra shroud and cut the two on opposite sides of the middle hole, notched the upper piece to slip over the bolts and made the overlap about 3/4” with slots to stabilize them. I’ll try to remember to take pictures tomorrow.
It's still clean.
It's still clean.
That scangauge 3 is really nice, are you running it off of obd2 on a LS based motor?I got my OBD wired in finally and the scangauge³ set up. I also think I finally got all of the parts gathered for the 80 rear axle swap. I hope to never have to grind all of the brackets off of another housing again.

Yeah. It's pretty snazzy. Probably a bit overkill for a stand alone LS but I'm still working out the bugs and settings. It has a lot of vehicle specifics features that require the whole car and not just the ECU.That scangauge 3 is really nice, are you running it off of obd2 on a LS based motor?
Ah yeah that sounds about right. Im currently just running the scangauge2 but the 3 looks super nice and looks like it can run way more than just the 4 gaugesYeah. It's pretty snazzy. I also have to do some more coding on my ECU to adjust ratios and whatnot. Right now I just have VATs deleted and that's it. It's still looking for post cat 02 sensors, evap, and transmission stuff.
