Took it out to the desert about a half hour from home to see what was out there. Found a few cool spots to revisit when it starts getting warmer.
This is why MUD is so homelove the grin on the little reddog's face, as he's probably kicking the seat back
yes, i recall that face on my daughters n then my grandkids.....as the little heathens were kicking the back of MY seat
Yes, because car seats didn't exist yet so they faced forward
. I remember standing up in the seat between 3 adults who all smoked with the windows down 1/2 inch. Kids today don't even know how bad they got it.

I'm dreading him facing forwards once I install my new 3 point belts...
The last piece of the turbo puzzle is in place, got the aux fuel pump installed. Nothing left to do now until the snow melts and I can get it out and log some data and tune.
Factory fuel pump was putting out 45-50 psi and this bumped it up over 100 psi, I adjusted it down to about 80 and it's definitely running rich now, at least in the shop not under load. I'm sure I'll have to drop it more but I need to hook the laptop up to the wideband and see where I'm at on the road. This is all new to me and I'm trying to play it safe.
For wiring I just plugged it into the FP terminal in the data port so it runs in tandem with the stock pump, it draws very little power. I'll permanently wire in at some point just haven't decided how I want to do it yet.
I'm also going to plumb a bypass in the fuel line around the pump with a shutoff valve, had to order some fittings. If this pump fails it won't flow through so I'd be dead in the water, with a bypass I could open a path around it so I could at least get it home off the stock pump

Finally put the center caps on.
The roads were clear and dry this morning so I took my 62 3fe turbo build out for a quick spin before I opened my shop. Holy cow this thing is nuts it ran so good and the power is amazing! I've had a couple other short rides in it but I was only at 2 - 3 lbs boost, this time I doubled up a couple springs in the wastegate and dang I might have to back down cause it hit 9 lbs. Boost started to build at 2000 rpms and was all in by 3000 and it felt like a healthy V8. I'm super stoked with the results! More snow in the forecast for next week though boohoo 
I took out the divider. Painted it black as it was showing a ton of rock chips. Took out the stationary window and replaced the gasket around it as the old one was original. Replaced the window felt tracks and the rubber weatherstrip piece on the chrome. I used the new 3D printed clips sold on this site to install the chrome. All the rubber was original and showing it’s age.
also disassembled my passenger door and took the lock out. Brought it to Toyota and had a couple new keys made. They need the number found only on your passenger door lock. It pops right out once you take off the clip on the back inside the door. While I was there they looked up all the history on my rig and I confirmed the gas tank replacement was done in 92.

Pulled my dash bezel. Had to get back there to upgrade my Firstech/Drone Mobile alarm, but figured I’d also order some new LED dash bulbs which I’ve been wanting to do for some time. Now I just gotta wait for them to arrive as I don’t want to put the dash bezel back, and take it out again. Not too bad to get the bezel removed. Just had to pull the speedo cable to have some more room to work. And I had the NCAA games on while working!
Went to pick up the new project
Looks like someone went to town with RTV on it but got a good deal so we will see what happens once it is cracked open
