See that's the joy of living in Oregon vs. California. In California it would definitely be illegal to drive around with your baby attached to a windshield wiper

The purpose of this is so the child catches the bugs with their mouth before they hit the windshield ;)

After hooking up and grounding every wire I found close to the carb fan in an attempt to make it work correctly I just installed the spring loaded switch. Thanks for the idea forum.
Just wish it would fit in the glaring vacant spot.

***I also dig the Mexican blanket cargo back splash.***

Practiced some contortionist skills while looking for any leaks around the heater core from all the new cooling/heater hoses that were just installed.

No leaks from the heater core thankfully (not that the heater would ever get used here!), just one small one from the heater control valve hose, dripping back to the firewall. Couple turns on the hose clamp and our new cooling system (all hoses, new radiator, new water pump, new temp sensors, new thermostat and gaskets) is officially leak free!

But the 60 is still down, waiting for one last part to come in to get our AC install all wrapped up. Some solid beach time is the best way I know to pass the time waiting on parts to arrive!

Been going nuts trying to prep my FJ62 for GSMTR next week (basically an excuse to do all the mods and projects planned until December this month). Front carpet is in, transmission tunnel sheetmetal work finally complete, triple sticks installed (NWF cable shifters), rear bumper and sliders on, working on spare driveshafts tonight then it's just down to a few PM items (fuel filter, oil change, valve adjustment, a few new knuckle studs, etc.) and packing. Not stressed out like @GLTHFJ60 is :D

Tried out my new to me tow rig...

Wheeled with a bunch of jeepers....and got new dent. Seem to have developed a bad habit of getting body damage on the last trail run of the weekend :bang:

Then gave Rukus a bath, just so I can get him dirty again at GSMTR!

Got my carb fan up and running thanks to @Grumpyhead12 hooking me up w/ a working cooling fan relay (or whatever it's called). And since I pulled the fan and cleaned it up many months ago it runs so quiet I can barely hear it. Also when I pulled everything apart I cut and filed down the bracket for the temp sensor for it and hooked it up proper to the intake.

P.S. Send us pictures of the back. I would like to see how that rear drop bar and tire swing works. Is the drop tube right behind the signal lights?

Not stressed now that my Ford is up and running :flipoff2:

The past month has been stressful though.

Sweet! Now get on the road! Congrats on the great 60!

Thanks! she will be sitting for the summer due to some work related shennanigans. I am taking the 80 on my trip to the east coast

Is that a half exo? You need it :flipoff2:

No Exo cage, but there is a full internal cage and 5 points inside :)

SIck truck. Start putting more bars around the outside before its too late. I finally welded up my exo after all the damage. But its ok because I like dents.

No need for Exo, its caged internally :)

Yes prety much, I dont have a picture of the rear without the plate so I wont have one up for a while. It has a spare brake light off the swing out. Ill get some pictures rolling in a few weeks. I am pretty swamped for the next 2 weeks but should get out fishing and camping in soon.

Only thing it needs is a 5 speed instead of a 4, Hella Supertones and some interior sound deadening!
