I'd like to see a picture of the windshield. Is that not illegal?

Not illegal. Sunbusters does them all the time. It's crystal clear you can't even tell it's on there. Not sure a pic would show at all.

But man it's the biggest help in keeping heat out of the vehicle.

I hear you on the tint. I bought mine tinted and tho I feel blocked in they do great at keeping the truck cooler. My driver and passenger windows are not as dark as the rears.

The windshield is clear, but the fronts are 1 shade dark, and the rest of the vehicle is 2 shades dark. 3 would be considered limo I was told.

Gotcha. I am looking at my truck in my driveway and I can barely see into the rear windows at all. ;)

i may be wrong here so please correct me if i am but according to bilstein your shocks are upside down. apparently the valving doesn't work right if they're not the other way around. no expert here. just what i've read so take it worth a grain of salt.

Thanks @franklin40! These are the shocks that came on the 60 when we bought it. I just used them to tack my shock mounts and get a picture. We are gonna go with some Fox shocks that we can stiffen up if needed. Thank you or helping us out.

Here's a pic to show sides difference. It's subtle. Loved having the windshield done for the trip this weekend to round up.

so that's #1 on front and #2 on back half? hmm. did you do the rear hatch, too? #2, #1? I'm considering a limo tint on back half sides and #1 or #2 on the rear hatch. And what is this windshield treatment doing?

Yes first level (lightest) on front, second level (middle) on everywhere else. The guy recommended to not do the darkest on classics because he felt like it took away from the looks of the car without the added benefits.

Basically when you get a tint that's more focused on heat rejection, darkness doesn't become as important. But the darker the better still.

The tint is Formula One Pinnacle everywhere, but the windshield is Air 90 ceramic tint. I believe it's made by Llumar...

3M also has a product for the windshield called Crystalline that I had in my 100 series.

Both products work well with the 3M costing a tad more.

how do you feel about the restricted visibility of the hatch? would you go back to a #1 there, or has it not crossed your mind? TY for your input BTW...
