Started putting the shiny bits back on....but the day was just to nice to work so went to the beach instead. It's coming back together very slowly.

Hhahahahahaahah.. Now you will even be more useful on the trail. The piece looks solid. I can breath easy now
Finally got around to bolting up a set of recovery points from @reevesci . Pretty stout looking kit and should come in handy when wheeling with people who seem abnormally drawn to getting stuck and needing a pull. You know who you are, @bushdoctor !

Did some winter two-tracking through the Upper Manistee River near Grayling. Tons of shelf ice and slush flowing down the river. Too cold to fish, but the warm up coming next week should allow us to get the drifter out and take a float.

that's one nice looking Sixty bud! is it just the light in the pic or is it 2-tone tan?

samtoddlee - it is indeed a 2-tone tan FJ60. It’s more tan on top and some kinda of green/tan on the bottom. Never seen one painted this way before. It’s on older paint job. Don’t know if it’s original. But, it gets a lot of compliments as it’s my daily driver. 145K miles and rising.

I spotted this weapon being built in the back of a shed where they do 200 Series Ute conversions here in Toowoomba. One of the fabricators said it's getting an LS1 V8 and will be used in an Endeavour/Variety Club Rally once complete. Should look & go great!!

please tell me they aren't going to leave the radius on the rear door lowers...

that's how you tell your cruiser "I love you..." hope you didn't need staples!

Please go back later on , keep up updated with pics. I find this intriguing to see how they finish it up. Any chance of
sneaking pics of how they did the frame lengthening?

Yeaterday

Looked my keys in the 60...back hatch unlocked....so I crawled thru back, felt pretty limber ;)

Latter the same day I was leaving a logging site , went to pull onto road and dropped the front end into a ditch, right up to the bI'll bar. looked and one rear wheel was about a foot in the air. I kinda thought I was screwed.. ..put low range, turn on rear ARB....and it backed right out

Back home I noticed one of the tarpports roof was sagging, water pooled up aMD frooze, so knocked one off.....darn big, next one....bigger, it came off fine but landed on some tires and bounced back into my knee......and took me out. so I chipled off some ice of the block and iced my knee

That was maybe the best part of my week.....
