Cleaned the 25 years of grime off the 80 wheels and rebalanced them. Also replaced the 80 front and rear engine/transmission mounts. Took a picture of a side by side comparison of passenger front mount when I had the old one out. The drivetrain does feel smoother. I know many people don’t really do the 80 mounts. They were not that fun to replace.

Those wheels look brand new! great job!

Finnaly got the parts to finish my ome lift. I went with the 2.5 heavy duty rear springs and also did New torsion bars up front. The lift came out great and got a lot of other minor things fixed at the same time. My truck is finnaly rattle free for the first time in the last 6 months.

The ride was the most common thing people wanted to know what I thought.

I have not taken it off road yet but the on road ride is much improved I’m my opinion if feel like it is solid with no body roll and it may be stiffer but I like that feel. Once I take it Offroad I will comment on the performance. New tires to come in a week.

Looks great. Test drive Sunday?

You test driving on mt. Ord run?

replaced upper ball joints and swapped out the 27mm spacers in the front with 15mm spacers.
had to "machine" out a pocket for the coilover reservoir hose fitting. They were hitting the spacer and causing the shocks to leak....
looks like they will be headed to SDHQ for recharge/refill soon...:bang:

Replaced inner tie rods and relay rod. Replaced oil cooler hose. Changed oil and filter. Adjusted toe out to zero. No more random jumps left or right.

Last few weeks I have been very busy.
Installed ARB safari snorkel I picked up from @medtro. lucky my friend saved the ARB template and shipped it to me for the install.
