Finally found some time to install the OME lift kit. I also threw in some new anti sway bars. I know many here have deleted the sway bar, but I believe a swerve at high speed could be a serious issue without these bars. I added about 1 1/2 on the link to accommodate the lift. Stock still fit, but it was a stretch. Yes I am aware I just claimed that a 74 can do high speeds ;) haha. I also robbed my 40 of its wheels and tires. I love the way it drives now!

Where did you get the great looking sway bar links?

Thank you sir.

Small steps at a time to make this rig really my own and to make it perfectly correct OEM after many years of abuse, neglect and non-use.

These truck DEMAND to be used and enjoyed. They are not happy otherwise.

Autozone. I think they are performance suspension too. They had several generic ones there. Funny thing was I went to Ace hardware and bought a tube and threaded rod and a few nylon nuts. I was all set to rebuild them when I went to auto-zone to see about some bushes, whammy! They already had the setups complete. Cheap too.

If you have a part# for what you used, please either post it or send me a PM. Thanks!

ES Part# is 9.8124 IIRC (not at shop so I might be off). We use them on various builds as well. If you don't have any luck at your local parts store, we stock them with black bushings too :D

If yours are good for a BJ70 with 2-3" lift, I'm happy to support a MUD vendor. Mine was OEM and I blew the washers and bushings out on one side. I can call tmrw or send me the link for your website (I couldn't find it listed). Thanks!

Give us a holler at the shop, we can grab your info and ship them right out. Thanks!

A lot of the 7x series trucks don't have fender skirts due to the placement of the exhaust downpipe on 3B/13B-T iterations.

The LH side fender skirt will work on the RH side since it's a mirror image.

You have to flip it over, pull out the clips, put them in from the other side and they are direct fits.

Only thing you really have to do is cut back the skirt so that it is not close to the hot down pipe.

These available new OEM.

I have those skirts but have not installed yet.
I would like to leave work and get on that right now.

Nice work sadam

I'd only actually fitted one tyre yesterday  but I finished the rest of them today, the rims have had the centres cut out and flipped to give a bigger offset, the backspace is about 34mm and the offset comes in at around -68. They were my first set of beadlocks I had made up about 8 years ago but somehow my mates daughter seems to have had them longer than I have :crybaby:

while I'm doing all this painting I should get around to painting the house some time soon :)
