My new Terrain Tamer HD clutch is in (thanks @orangefj45 !). Pedal effort is definitely more (as you would expect) but more of a perceived difference than a nuisance. It holds great.
I also put on a set of 35" tires- Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT's. They are a very tight fit, but seem pretty good. They push my effective gear ratio up about 3% if my math is right. That's about half of a standard ring and pinion ratio jump. I may end up with new wheels at some point with some negative offset to push the wheels out some, then put on flares. Likely that will be a case of sourcing wheels from AU because 16" wheels in 5x150 with zero offset or slightly negative offset don't exist in the U.S. that I can find. That is another big expense of time and money so it will wait for now.
Loving the look though.

What size Baja Boss did you get?

That’s been a tire I’ve been looking at as well, the Baja boss since they have some good tall/skinny sizes.
I had the Baja Boss AT's on my wifes 200 (black one in the pic). Have Yoko's on it now. The Mickey's were very good, but did wear pretty quickly. To their credit, the are a winter (snowflake) rated tire and had pretty soft compound. They were very good in the snow. I am kind of regretting not getting another set for it. We will see how the MT's wear but mud tires don't usually do great anyway for wear.

@dogfishlake just beware of gravel roads. Even a tiny bit of pike absolutely demolishes the fenders
I need flares on there. Will be running a lot of them next weekend so I will just have to deal with it.

All cooling system bits/engine bits/chassis bits.

We get a lot of 7x trucks coming through down here pretty consistently— especially with 1HZ engines.
I think Michigan has had a total of 9 7x series Cruisers pass through in the last 10 years 😅

Can still get the factory flares but they’re not a cheap option. But in my opinion still look the best and the moulded rubber mudflaps etc work nicely with them. I can’t see why they wouldn’t fit the Nth American variants. Few other fiberglass options from the likes of tjm etc also.

I bought the flares, mounts and gaskets from Toyota for my HZJ-73. Still haven't put them on. They are definitely pricey.
There is an Australian company called the Fiberglass Factory that makes an oem looking flare that mounts from under the fender lip. I am considering those (as well as their VDJ-79 hood scoop for narrow nose trucks) but not taken the leap yet.

Good thing about the RV flares is they just unbolt off, so are super easy to touch up if need be. Not so easy with some of the aftermarket ones that are stuck on. Sounds like you have a few options in the fire to pick from haha. I saw a flat bonnet with the scoop for sale the other week it looked sharp.

FRP Australia makes em too, i have their version, not any cheaper tho

I got the Alucab camper back in. Getting ready for a trip to Michigan's UP. Nothing hard- Campsite in Marquette and e bikes around town. We are going to travel out and hike a couple of days though. Mainly I.am excited to figure out camper needs and truck performance on the road to get ready for a bigger run West this summer!

No rain in the forecast, figured it was time to go topless 😎

Found a nice cargo net on Amazon. Fit perfectly. I ordered the same Bimini Guyute has but won’t be in for a few weeks. Lookin forward to it!

That looks great. I never thought about the cargo net. I have been waiting to pull my FRP because I haven't painted my half doors. That would be an excellent interim solution. What vehicle is it listed to fit? Thanks!
