What are you guys using for license plate lights on aftermarket bumpers? (1 Viewer)

I got my 4x4 Labs bumper mounted and my license plate moved, but I need to add a light for the license plate to be legal. Looking for a simple LED light that I can wire in.

Any links would be appreciated.

I had noticed a LED lighted frame at Autozone made by Pilot that has white LED light around the entire perimeter that cam be wired to switch to red for a brake light. Only seems to come in chrome though.

Also started noticing trailer plate lights that look like could have some options.

Someone on here used some trick mounting bolts that have built-in led lights. Looks awesome. If I ever get a ticket, this is what I will do. I believe they are on Amazon....

This LED is what Dissent Offroad is using on their bumpers. I can’t see a name brand in it though. It’s pretty damn bright though. A bit much for my taste.

The LED bolts are hot. Still have to wire them up but a very nice solution IMO. I’m just being lazy waiting on the battery version lol

I'm also running the lights b16 linked. Though they are a little more blue then I like so I just ordered some "4k white" ones from superbrightled.

I bought that one on Amazon. It lasted about a month before it started flickering on and off. It was rediculously bright too. Looking for another solution.

The bolt lights look cool and I am going to go that route one day. But honestly any auto parts store and even Walmart sales led license plate lights that will work.

Better test for the front springs proved successful. Still very much liking these. Softopper lets in alot of dust though.

I used a 60 series light assembly in my 4x4labs.

I also use the illuminated LED license plate bolts. Only complaint is they are a bit bright when you wire them direct. If you get the “Warm 3000k” color and put a little 12v dimmer in line, you can get the lighting signature almost exact to the rest of the vehicle lights. I also pulled power from the tow harness plug. Easy peazy lemon squeezy.
