I grew up at the coast, but I have never been in there. I spent a lot of time on the lower middle and south fork. Been up into Major Moore’s, all over the Gasquet Toll RD, low divide, etc.

Turns out im dumb and used too much paint and not enough brains. This is what it looked like at night. Needles were basically invisible.

It finally got the best of me. I tore it out again, cleaned up the needles and put in led dash Illumination. Muy bueno.

Turns out this pic inadvertently caught some potential catastrophic damage to the brake shaft.
It was somehow rubbing on the drum drive gear.
