any cruiser plans for this weekend?

No wheelin for me, but I have some tail lights and a rear seatbelt to replace and an endless list of anal-retentives...

anyone else wrenching or wheelin' this weekend?

Oh and anyone know where i can get 24V bulbs? I haven't tried napa or Andavced yet but I am less than optomistic...maybe a tractor supply?

I will probably be doing some sat and sun. I have to try and get the leaking stopped on my truck then I have a long list of little things for the cruiser.

I replace the water pump belt twice (I put the old one on again and then realized what I had done  ) New fuel filter (clear one). Found out that if I drove with high rpm for over ten seconds it would starve it's self. I opened the old one up and it was full of rust. (wonderful now I'll have to fix the tank later on!) Replace the vac assist.

Ripped out old wires that went to no where (at the next meeting I show you just how many wires this thing has there are at least twenty in the rollcage alone) Still couldn't get the guages working but got the radio working though one speaker that must be out of a 76 pinto is blown. The guy had run 12 gauge wire from the radio straight to the battery ( I ripped those out also  )

Ran out of grease while greas'in the 400 fitting all over the place. Washed the grease from under the body. (casorol cleaner at walmart $6.95 for a gallon this is what I use for my boat)

replaced some missing bolts. There is a lot to go.

Oh yeah lost a 14mm socket that fell into the engine compartment and the cruiser gobbled it up.

Did all that and managed to compete in the Palmetto Prestdigous Pig compition in Charleston this weekend though we didn't win.

I started the weekend with plans to just move the fenders up and ended with the frond axle pulled out of the truck. It looks like it is spring over time for the front axle.

I just have to make sure it is done by GSMTR. I am going to run by the Dodge dealer this afternoon and pick up some spring perches then the fun realy begins.

I had lots of plans for the cruiser but I never did any of them this weekend. I did replace the hardest little piece of hose on my mazda though so it would stop leaking antifreeze. Also pulled the dent out of my girlfriends car as best I could. Of course if JP hadnt backed into it in the driveway there wouldnt have been one there.

I didn't do s***...oh wait painted my living room.

This Weekend.....

I'll be replacing my radiator and hoses. I might replace the alternator, haven't decided yet.

Holy Cow!

Well, this ain't about THIS weekend, but.....
I just got off the line with Clemson 4x with
a price check for that rear ARB for the 40.
Hold your breath....A GRAND.....that's right
about a grand.
AND.... that's with me pulling the 3rd and
installing it with the ARB installed.
I still pumb etc.......I'm in shock.
That's more than the spare change I've saved.
I feel like I'm about to get ......gasp...
I need a price check on isle ARB.
They get 799 plus 200 for setup of 3rd.
It didn't seem so ridiculous when I did the front.
Then I had to do the pump and tank etc in
addition to the ARB.
I forgot the pain. :)
Oh well.....GSMTR looms ahead....
Ohm......cruiser,cruiser,cruiser....Ohm

nah JP I was makin her earn her keep. and if I remember correctly I called you from the Esso club for you to come drink with me and you bowed out cause why....cause your gf wanted you to stay home.

Gundy how much free time do you have, cause I swear every time I come onto mud and see you on, you got a different pic up. Must have a lot of time to take pics of that pretty cruiser!

Heck yeah I told you I was ridin shotgun, what time are we leavin?

well, I think the earlier the better like leave clemson around 630-45 and meet at exit 19 with the other guys, eat some waffle house and then head that way should take us about 1.5 hours to get there

I have to leave there around noonish but that will give us atleast 3 good hours of willing and dealing........ I have to be in North Augusta by 400 for my moms B-day party

That works for me. I'll be at your house at 6:30 and we'll head out. And noonish is a good time to leave, figure we'd of bought everything we were buyin by then.
