Thanks Mark. So anyone brave enough? Haha. I don’t care about the rear, but the cargo area and fronts would be great. I’d be curious what “a little” trimming looks like![]()

Were you going to get the 80s rear seat floor mat?i had the cut to fit in my 60. They were ok, but not like the floor liners. I think I could live with the 80 ones. I’ll buy those and see how it goes. I took out the foot rest.
No, I only need the fronts. Kids are gone, so back seat won’t get used much. Would like the cargo area though. Were you going to get the 80s rear seat floor mat?
Thank you for the pictures. I ordered the fronts, We'll see how they "really fit" lol. I am wondering if needed I can take the heat gun and relax them a little. Its going to take me a while to get the interior back together, but I'll keep everyone posted. No, I only need the fronts. Kids are gone, so back seat won’t get used much. Some here might balk at the idea of trimming mats you pay 75 bucks for, which is understandable. However, the finished product is the best solution I’ve had in ages
When I go there they cost $97 (US website). I wonder if this is from cookies that adjust pricing based on your history. Tdot Performance in Canada has them for $130 CDN.
Finally have some time for a proper writeup for these Mats now that I’ve used them for the better part of three weeks.
I spent a while looking at early Toyota trucks with floorpans similar to our cruisers. After a while I narrowed it down to early pickups and first gen 4Runners based on some photos.
Then I looked for any company claiming to make molded mats for early Pickups / 4Runners - as you may imagine that list is so small it’s almost non-existent. Thankfully Husky does make a set in both grey and back - and their website shows pictures of their actual products. With this in mind I could see it was pretty close to what I wanted - raised lips on the edges, and a stepped design on the floor, so I took a gamble and bought some.
The end result is shown below.
Pros: These Mats are durable and are definitely just as good as any weather tech product I’ve owned in my other vehicles, the bottoms have large spikes so they don’t move at all, and the design captures water instead of slowly draining it onto your carpet
Cons: These are designed as molded mats, not trim to fit - however for our purposes here trimming them works to our advantage without ruining their functionality.
The image with red markup is directly from husky, and shows the specific mats you get. The red marks are 90% accurate to where I needed to trim to get them to fit my truck. You will need a heavyduty pair of shears with cutting blades to do this
Note: There wasn’t anything I trimmed that ruined the “pan” of the Mat - only some high edges that had some unnecessary overlap that cause my map pockets on my doors to bump.

Good report on these, the fronts look good...any chance there is a one piece rear floor mat for the 60 that you noticed to match these fronts?
Otherwise the cut to fit mats @Hojack mentioned in post #62 look to be the best fit to a 60/62, which includes the one piece rear, I might give those a shot.
Sucks we can't get proper mats for these wagons, the custom fit Husky Liners in my Tundra are freaking awesome. Best purchase ever!!
Does the Husky one piece rear match the fronts you showed?husky sells a one piece floor but the one I have is already excellent
One key difference between the lloyds mats and these is the trans tunnel lip, If you live anywhere with snow or rain when you rest your foot on the gas pedal it leans on the vinyl square on the tunnel - causing the water to run down it onto the floor
The high lip on these prevents that, and the material is thin enough to where it’s not annoying or in the way
The rear I have is non husky - it’s a generously large Goodyear from Walmart that fits greatDoes the Husky one piece rear match the fronts you showed?
